    It actually does have an element that needs checking if your in Bore water.

    How many Watts is the 240v element? Just a suggestion, having 2 elements, 1 high power, say 1500-2400w for shore power use,and another smaller wattage element, maybe 1000-1500w for inverters or batteries to use as a backup or as a Solar Dump for when batteries are full SOC would be very useful, otherwise I would suggest to keep the element wattage down if using a single element so it can still be used with inverters or batteries & you can still use the gas as a quick boost.     So when hooked up to mains pressure and 240v, the unit automatically fills with water and tops itself up as hot water is used. Does this mean in this situation the hot water unit can remain powered up to always have hot water ready to go? Or must you turn the unit off when the tank reaches temp?
