just a friendly reminder that the PS2 lasted for nearly 13-14 years lol, the PS2's last game was fifa 2014, which was released 3 years after this game came out in 2010.

Back when companies made multiple different games of the same game for different platforms and they still came out working properly.
Not only that, they were actually also enjoyable. Even though it was a different game on a different platform.
Games were not near the same scale as recent games tho
1. PS3 - resolution is significantly blurrier but has playable Zurg as an exclusive.
2. Xbox 360 - Image is a lot cleaner and other than Zurg, it plays exactly like the PS3 version.
3. PC - Higher resolution than the Wii version but still very downgraded when compared to the PS360 versions.
4. Wii - It's like the PC port but blurrier.
The other versions are very different so it's not fair to rank them all together.
1. PS2 - best version of this variant, cleaner image resolution.
2. PSP - very similar to the ps2 version except it's lower resolution and pixelated.
3. DS - not great but we appreciate the effort!
I would recommend either the PS3 or 360 versions, both are great. The 360 version is backwards compatible on the Xbox One/Series S|X.
Psp and Ps2 are the best version for me. - grafics, + fun
Yeah PS3 has the advantage to play as Zurg, but the Xbox version has the luxury of backwards compatibility
Whats Questionable about the PSP Version is that the Bonus Game Levels are Locked as Paid DLC while on PS2 they are Already Included on Disc
I recommend the ps1 game over them all haha

For some reason I like the look of the PSP version.
Surprisingly the ds was my nostalgia game for toy story 3, kinda of funny seeing how much better other consoles had it lmao.

These games honestly deserve backwards compatibility or remasters. Probably the best set of licenced games ever made.
It is backwards compatible on Xbox.
The PSP version is available to purchase on the PS4/PS5 Playstation Store. (and it is in the Deluxe/Premium subscription in the classics catalogue)
The X360 version is in the backwards compatibility catalog so if you have the physical media saved you are ready to go.
The PC version is available to purchase on Steam.
The PS2 version has been lost to time, but it's basically the same as the PSP version that you can still play on PS4/PS5.
The Wii and PS3 versions are lost to time, but they are the same as the PC and X360 versions that you can still play on the new Xbox and Steam. (the only difference is that the PS3 has Zurg as exclusive content)
The DS version is the only one where there really is no other way to play other than emulators as it is unique to that console and has never been re-released.
I find it interesting how they preferred to port the PSP version to the PS2 instead of the Wii version and at the same time they preferred to port the Wii version to the PC instead of the PS3/X360 version.
Fun fact is that the PS2 version ended up being the only one among the consoles to run at 60fps.

I played the 360 and PSP versions growing up. Loved them both, genuinely great games and some of the best on their consoles.

A simple game yet extremely entertaining
The best here is PS3/Xbox360
Here my veredict for all versions:
DS: Pretty impressive version for his limited hardware.
PSP: Pretty good version
PS2: PSP version with better resolution, textures and runs at 60 FPS, pretty good.
Wii: Impressive version
PC: disappointing, just a Wii version with 60 FPS, could be based on PS3/X360 versions
PS3/Xbox 360: the best versions with best graphics, PS3 feature exclusive content, you can play with Zurg, but Xbox 360 have slightly better graphics.
I’d say the PS3 version is the best overall, mainly because of Zurg alone. If you ask me, exclusive content outweighs any graphical/resolution advantages other versions may have, in my opinion.
Somehow the PS2 version is the most true to the series art style.

I Played the Xbox 360 version at my old dentist waiting room when I was 8.
I rented the Wii version from my local library when I was 9.
I rented the pc version from my local library when I was 10.
I remember getting scam on steam because the game's page used the ps3/xbox360 screenshots whereas when I got the game it was a slightly upgraded wii version with all its cut content

When I bought TS3 on Steam, I played for hours, and then I couldn't unlock anything, thinking that I had done something wrong. When I looked up online, it turns out that TS3 on Steam is the Wii version, which has only like 40% of the whole content (unlike PS3, which was the best version, and I believe it gives you Zurg as a playable character).

i have this game on the DS and Wii, we recently got the Xbox 360 version and i can’t believe there’s so much more stuff than the Wii version!
I can confirm to have the Wii version of TS3. But I don’t remember there being shades that looked THAT GOOD in that version of the game. Shades if anything look worse than the other versions of the game. But I still love it as it’s full of ridiculous glitches.
I hated the graphic downgrade on the Wii version, it’s disappointing how they even cut off the shadows on the Nintendo Wii

The PS3 version is better than the Xbox 360/One/Series X/S version only because you can play as Zurg
Unlike all of you who care about GRAPHICS. My favourite is the PSP version because it focuses mostly on platforming and not shooting with Buzz. The missions still are there but they're optional.

I gotta hand it to the Wii version. It may only be 480p, but damn does it get close to looking like the HD versions.

Xbox is the cleanest look... but I think that works against it in terms of capturing the movie's charm. I think the PS3 and PSP match the quality of the animated movie itself. Regardless, I still enjoy it on my old Wii.

I own ps2 and xbox 360 versions.
I think I prefer the brighter colors from the ds, the gameplay from the playstation systems, and the graphics from the 360.

The sound on the Wii is a shame, the Wii is capable of high quality sound output but this doesn't do it justice.

Version 1: Xbox 360 & PS3
Version 2: Wii & PC (Same with Version 1 but a little bit different on 0:02)
Version 3: PS2 & PSP
Version 4: DS
It makes me angry that the PS3 version of this game has the most content. The PC version could've had the most content, but Disney apparently decided to not do that.
I wonder why the PC version has such simple graphics, it is usual for the PC version to have the best graphics
I wonder why they didn't make the PS2 version the same as the wii version because the ps2 isnt too far off the wii and a lot of wii games got ps2 ports
benefit of each port:
DS: portable (unique)
PSP: portable (taken from PS2)
PS2: best image quality
Wii: motion controls, pointer
PS3: Full HD, playable zurg
XBOX 360: can be played on modern XBOX
PC: can be played on basically everything
The fact that PS3 and X360 are more detailed than PC bothers me lol

There's also one detail about PC/Wii version difference against PS3/XBOX360. On PC/Wii version Buzz helmet is always closed. Meanwhile on PS3/XBOX360 it closes on jetpack wings popping or during Toy Story 2 intro level with Zurg fortress on planet surface. Inside Zurg fortress his helmet is opened like the rest of the game.
I wonder did average PC on 2010 was that bad so they made a poor Wii port for PC with such lack of animations and graphics.

The Wii version is widescreen (16x9) so it would be like 852x480. 640x480 is resolution for full screen (4:3) games like what you showed on PS2. Anyways I’d choose Xbox 360 and Wii versions.
