I like the XBOX 360 version for the graphics, and i like the PS2 version for the nostalgia too! ❤️
Cars for DS was just a mini game collection than actual racing, heck even the GBA was literally like any 2d top down racing game while the PSP knocked it out the ballpark. Glad I grew up with the Gamecube version.
Btw, Dolphin would of looked marvelous "regardless of Gamecube and Wii ports" just like its PCSX2 counterpart.

I find it weird when games on the DS are like this when other games have more than proven that the DS is capable of full 3-D racers. They may not look as pretty, but it’s not as though it isn’t capable. Even the GBA had some impressive need for speed games.
In my opinion:

GBA is surprisingly good
They should definitely re release Cars for PS4 and PS5.
I had the GameCube version as a kid and I've been playing it again on the Original Xbox. It's pretty good, but it has screentearing.
6:27 PCSX2 transformed PS2 games to a "next gen level".🥰
The Wii one seems like it has better textures, considering Dolphin Emulator can upscale well I wonder why he didn't choose to do that. (Plus gets you 60 FPS)
Psp version definitely have a real sense of speed.

The PSP version is more fun.
1. Xbox 360 - You already know why. Best looking version by far, though it doesn't run as well as the Wii version. Maybe just the video, I don't know as I only own the GameCube version, but it seems that Wii runs at 60 FPS while the 360 only runs at 30.
2. Wii - A huge step up graphically from the PS2, GCN, and Xbox versions despite the gap in power between the Wii and said last gen systems not being much. Not only does Wii have better character models than the last gen systems, but it also runs at 60 FPS as opposed to 30.
3. Xbox - Seems to have additional gloss effects not found on PS2/GCN, as well as progressive scan support.
4. PS2/GCN (tie) - The PS2 version has motion blur effects that the GameCube lacks, but the GameCube version has slightly less aliasing and slightly better textures. Overall, it is a tie between the two versions. PS2 has motion blur, but GameCube has better image quality.
5. PC - This version is the worst simply because the textures are super glitchy in this version and the camera is too zoomed in for some reason, thus making it harder to see where you're going.
Can confirm as someone that owns the 360 version that the game does run at 30fps

While the Xbox does look the best out of all of the 6th generation consoles, it appears to run at a slightly lower framerate compared to the rest. Instead of a straight 30 it's around 27-28 FPS.

I can’t believe how bad the DS version is. I recently picked it up super cheap and thought it would be good fun. How disappointed I was, nothing like the good old PS2 version I played as a kid!
Thank goodness I made the choice to Grab Race o Rama back then,
At the store, It was a choice of getting Cars Ds or Race o Rama and I thank God I chose right because it was the best decision of my childhood for sure, because later after finishing that game, i somehow managed to get my hands on a 512 in 1 Ds cartridge, and when I finally played that game, Dear god it was so boring that I never played it again , the only good part was the lighting vs chicks race, and that’s it!
In the end of the day, I’m grateful I never made the decision to get That game and gotten race o Rama instead, it was so fun and memorable to me in fact that I still play it to this day.
Even with the new Delta App on IOS
Xbox 360's version is the most polished, colorfull and high quality in graphic looks. But Lightning's "face"/front model in Wii version looks more similar accurate to thw movie
not only does the xbox 360 version look like race-o-rama it has the correct racing numbers for the piston cup racers

graphics are one thing, but they heavily downgraded a lot of the models rigs, they didn’t properly fix up some parts of the game and especially animations suffered, really the only thing that makes X360 good is graphics, and even those are worse on X360 in some aspects

@@destroyermcw626Better grab it quickly cause in 1 year they will shutdown the Xbox 360 Marketplace for good, and getting Cars (The Video Game) is gonna go up in price for physical copies.
P.S.: Also take advantage of the Xbox 360 marketplace to buy licensed games stuck on that console, like The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (which costs less than Cars btw).

Why would you put GBA below DS? The GBA version has decent 2D art and still captures the purpose of the game but the DS is just a cheap boring point and click on rails piece of licensed shlock.

El de PC es idéntico al resto de consolas de sobremesa, la diferencia es que el que lo grabó puso el juego en widescreen, rompiendo la cámara, mientras que en 4:3 la cámara es igual al resto de versiones.
The Gamecube version reminds me to World Rally, a racing arcade game made by Gaelco.

Me like version Cars games Console in PS2 and PSP, But in PSP version has not have Open world Fitures
Is it only me, but Wii version feels more lifely? Idk, it’s because of how cars are going more natural, or it’s because of 60 fps maybe.
I think that XBOX 360 have the best graphics, but I will choose PC version because it’s more stable then other versions
One reason to choose the 360 version over the wii version for me is proper widescreen on 360, as the wii version seems cropped from 4:3 in comparison.

I got the wii GameCube and ds versions but i also got the psp version in a emulator and i say the wii version is a lot smoother then the GameCube version.
I think the Wii graphics are mind blowing and gorgeous for a 2006 game
Incinerator Studios did a great job developing games for the Wii.
It's literally the worst looking version. The 360 version looks beautiful, but the wii version is just the gamecube version only zoomed into a 16:9 aspect ratio. It would've looked good for 2000 but not 2006

my favorites the portable version i most like is the psp version and the console of all of what i like is the xbox 360 version
I like the PC and OG XBOX versions the best since they are the best of the non remastered graphics, and I don't like the new animations and models of the 360 and Wii versions. Maybe it was because I was first exposed to the Gamecube version? Idk, they just look off.
I will forever pick PC and PS2/PCSX2 over the rest, the og xbox looks cool too.
You may be thinking "UMM ACTUALLY THE X360 AND WII HAVE HIGHER POLY MODELS AND BETTER CAMERA"
First, high poly doesn't equal to a good model, McQueen's model in Xbox 360 is extremely off putting to me, as well as other characters like Wii Sally.
Idk man, the color palette in the Wii/360 just doesn't do it for me, and the widescreen thing is not a big deal to me honrstly, I enjoy playing the PC version in 4:3 (also because trying to play the pc version on widescreen breaks the camera putting it too close to the car like in the video, 4:3 looks just like every other version)
Also, I enjoyed the DS version as a kid, and you should've showed a bit of every minigame or at least the piston cup minigame rather that the sheriff one, hell you didn't even show the tractor tipping minigame along with the rest of them.
