Hi Laura Thank you so much for this beautiful video. I love bling and jewelry too. As I’ve told you many times, you always make everyone so happy and bring smiles to so many faces. We love you so much and your a blessing to our Face Painting community. I hope your having a fun summer. Hugs. Chaim 🌈🦄🦋☀️🌠✨
I am starting making blings, it is so fun. I got medical tape in A4 sheets. Today I went to the park with some material and the birds thought it was food for them eheh. Thaknks for the tips in your video. Have a good evening =)
Hi! Miss your videos💕 Do you happen to know how well the tape holds up in humid heat? I live near Houston, Tx and I just haven’t been able to use bling without a ton of hassle except maybe during the 3/4 brief “winter” months because they just won’t stay on. Tried eye lash glue and some other bling glue. I usually just stick with Festival glitter because it’s fast and won’t fall off in the heat.
Such a great question- I think anything that can stick through intense heat/humidity is likely not great on kids skin- that being said , this stuff works great. Still comes off when kids are on bounce houses- etc. The festival glitter is amazing for that I agree. Bling can be great for indoor event.
@@fairyfox I agree about indoors, I just so rarely have indoor events down here🙄 I do a lot of Markets/Festivals most of the time. I have been curious about the tape option so I guess I will experiment. Thank you for the tips. 🫶🏼
@@fairyfox I get it, very in consistent with my videos as well. Although I am on a posting streak right now, lol. Just so you know, your videos taught me how to face paint and learn amazing line technique. Your videos are wonderful and you are a great teacher!💖
Hi Laura, may I ask the bings (shown in the video from0:22) in plastic bag with “Put your bings on” are made by yourself or purchased from other stores? They are really pretty! Thank you for making this video!
@@fairyfoxWow! Thank you for your reply! The link in the description is her facebook account. I tried to contact her but get no response yet. Does she have any online store or website to reach out? Thanks again!
Can you please explain to me or do a tutorial about cleanliness and cross contamination? is it safe to use same brushes and sponges on multiple children or do you swap each time or wash in between, im a newbie so just want to make sure i do things right xx
There is so much out there!!! I think the basics are pretty simple. #1 don't paint sick kids. #2 keep your area clean #3 most of us use one sponge per kid when working with rainbow cakes. After that you get a lot of different levels of careful. Just remember- even the strictest level of care you will still spread germs- that's what people do, and even with the lowest level of care most people won't get sick- that's what immune systems are for. Most of us find our peace somewhere in the middle. Good Luck.
Such a good question! It depends on your market and your bling. Many people would be more qualified to answer this than me, but how I handled it in my business was just upping my top design price across the board, so bling is included in the price of any super fancy design. For the designs that don't have bling there are other ways to add the "extra special" touch.

Do you charge for them at events?
What kind of color do you use? Oil color? or water based?
Always water based face paint- it is my favorite.

Hi Laura .. I wanna start adding blings to my facepaint, but how much extra can i charge for a bling?

hi Laura
Bling costs money, breaks into your overhead…
True! It is always tricky to balance value and cost.
