CNG is still the best energy alternative for commercial vehicles. We should be able to manage our energy mix very well.

How can you be launching and immediately phasing out CNG usage simultaneously? This is a typical example of Nigeria's notorious policy inconsistencies, if it was up to this 'expert.' Some of our brothers from upcountry na wa oo!! OMG!!!

It is getting more difficult to be an APC member in Nigeria
Tell us where we can buy cng gas if we purchase cng vehicle
If in 5 years cng goes into oblivion then the Nigerian people are on a one chance vehicle
It will be fair to say it is a no hope agenda

Electric vehicles in Nigeria? Where is the quantum of electricity needed to power these EVs?
The manufacturer of EVs will need to set up rechargeable ports all over the country.
He talked about using solar energy to power the EVs, but how efficient would that be?
If the EVs are solely dependent on solar energy, it means that you cannot drive your car when the weather changes and there is no availability of constant sunlight to recharge the EV batteries.

While it's true that some argue CNG is at the end of its shelf life, countries like India, Pakistan, and Brazil continue to heavily invest in CNG vehicles, demonstrating its ongoing relevance. These nations have robust infrastructures and policies supporting CNG adoption, indicating its sustained viability beyond the suggested five-year timeframe. Additionally, advancements in technology and renewable energy sources could further extend the lifespan of CNG as a transitional fuel.
India, for instance, has made significant investments in CNG vehicles, with over 3 million CNG-powered vehicles on its roads as of 2022. The Indian government has implemented various initiatives to promote CNG adoption, including subsidies, tax incentives, and infrastructure development.
Pakistan has also heavily invested in CNG infrastructure, with over 3,000 CNG stations and approximately 3.1 million CNG vehicles as of 2022.
Similarly, Brazil has a well-established CNG market, with over 1.8 million CNG vehicles and a growing network of refueling stations. These investments underscore the continued relevance and viability of CNG as a transportation fuel in these countries.
The significant investments made by countries like India, Pakistan, and Brazil in CNG vehicles, coupled with their expanding infrastructures and supportive policies, strongly oppose the notion that CNG is at the end of its shelf life. These examples highlight the enduring relevance and potential for further growth of CNG as a viable and sustainable transportation fuel, contradicting claims of its imminent demise.

He is no expert at all; already trashing a project that has not even taken off. Even if he's right, what's wrong with a 5 yr CNG transition to his electric vehicle utopia?
    Promises, promises !!
For 20 years, FG's automotive sector has promised everything and delivered absolutely nothing. The good thing is that economic factors will ultimately determine both the relevance and longevity of CNG vehicles.

Solar power is dependent on sun which is not available 24 hrs or on non sunny day .All CNG cars will be available even after 5 yrs.So saying ev is the solution how much expense in replacing the batteries after 4 yrs cost of ev is very high and big investments r needed to produce electricity

Both technology are good ,we need to have good energy mix,Nigeria has abundant natural gas besides cng kits are cheaper than electric vehicle conversion kits, the same goes buying new gas vehicle, electric vehicle is more expensive and not entirely a clean energy source ,when you consider dirty lithium mining technology at various lithium mining site that pollutes the world in summary each one have it's merit and demerit let's adopt the 2. we should equally look at sodium ion battery and metal-air battery technology which is a cheaper battery alternative finally Hydrogen combustion engine and green hydrogen powered fuel cell technology to be integrated in EVs in the future

Oga you can market your product without spoiling the cng initiative... so which is most fisible ?... converting the already existing millions of vehicles to run on dual fuel ( cng and petrol) or inbesting money in extremely expensive EV cars... so we should tre away all the over 11 million cars we have ?... just because ur company produces EV?.... u are very wicked o.

CNG is dated please. CNG is not reliable as we think and assume, they don't power the vehicle's effectively this is something many don't know about. The government should think of bringing in hybrid vehicles not CNG. This guy is just speaking grammar in Arise TV studio. Electric vehicle that your guest is venturing into dated too. How many are sold now in America? Check the indices electric vehicles are not selling in the US. What happened last week in Tesla when Elon Musk ordered heads of unit in Tesla to sack workers or he will sack them himself. The best is hybrid vehicles period
