I unboxed mine this morning. I was so nervous to do it myself. There were no instructions I could find in the box. Turns out you dont need them. Unbelievably easy to unfold and put in the handlebar. My first impression it's way smaller than my 4x20" fat tire folder. It's very low to the ground, and the welds are perfect. Im old, skinny, and only 5'8". Thanks to you guys. I'm finally part of the Lectric family. I waited 2 years for the upgraded Lite. The tires might need a few pounds of air, tires had been aired up. 2 other new ebikes I had ordered, the tires were off the bead. Its way better than i thought it would be. Im buying a sandstorm next month, when they come out. I didnt mean to spam your channel. Thank you.

My favorite thing about this bike is the weight. It could be even lighter if it were not designed to be a folding bike, without the hinge/clamp, folding pedals, and center stand, it could shed enough weight to offset adding a seven speed and more comfortable seat.

That’s true it could even be lighter by shedding that weight! But, then it wouldn’t be a classic Lectric specializing in folding e-bikes 😉

You are right! I checked their website to see if they have any non-folding models and it turns out that they have a long wheelbase cargo model and a 26x4” model called a
Lectric X Peak.
It looks pretty nice for about $1400.
Very simple yet functional ebike. I and as well as Im sure of many of you viewers grew up riding bmx or mountain bikes with no suspension and we never complained then. The fact it is so light is cool because of it not having suspension. Also 20mph seems slow from other ebikes but 20mph is actually a good decent speed. Great video! Thanks for the show! :D
Well said Rabbit! It’s a no frills eBike! Haha the suspensions come in very handy nowadays, I rode road bikes for a long time and had no complaints about suspensions. And your right for most people 20 mph is enough, for me and a lot of my viewers I think 25 mph would be the sweet spot with this bike. I’m glad you enjoyed our show 🤟🏼
They did a good giving it the bmx look. I would put those bars on my red bike and ditch the clown- giraffe bar. Standard battery is pretty small. Looks like a fun little bike.

Pretty interesting they have a belt drive version for so cheap! And definitely the larger battery 🤟🏼
It has a flaw in frame geometry that affects peddling comfort and efficiency. The spindle is ahead of the down tube. The larger watt motor version has the correct geometry. It's spindle is under and inline with the down tube.
I hope they make a video to show how to take off the rim and put it back on.

Unfortunately this is the highest that the seat will rise! That’s why I mentioned this as my negatives of this bike, the seat post is way too short! And the overall size of the bike it’s not made for taller riders. So good catch on it, thanks so much for watching and you’re very welcome!

The name of the gloves are AlpineStars Stella Baika motorcycle gloves. They are leather and get hot in the summer, but I don’t care since it’s my safety. They are also women’s gloves, but I’m sure you can find the equivalent in the men’s version. I hope this helps! ✌️

It’s not a highway, it’s a very quiet reservoir where cyclists are allowed to take the whole lane and it’s perfect for shooting videos.

And so it begins, Hermosa Beach CA has JUST BANNED EBIKES. They say off road ebikes but any bike that throttles over 20mph could qualify. And irresponsible ebike reviewers like EL are partly to blame, posting videos of riding illegal bikes on public roads, popping wheelies, speeding, blowing through stop signs and red lights, illegally riding on sidewalks and beaches, boardwalks, shared paths etc. Hermosa just got tired of the dangerous riding mostly by kids, but kids who watch videos like EL and emulate that behavior because they think it is okay and cool because a child adult is doing it on YT. Thanks numb nutz. Whatabouters will come in and say "But it's only off road bikes like Surron, but that's where the slippery slope starts. Do you think getting rid of Surrons is going to solve the problem? There's thousands of kids out there driving unsafely and making fools of themselves. That's the problem and communities like Hermosa Beach will keep passing more stringent laws until they think they've solved the problem. Registration and insurance, which New Jersey is discussing, are next.
