In the UK, the XPS 13 (non-plus) is on a 12th-gen chip and with 14th-gen around the corner, it is not something I would recommend. The XPS 13 Plus has dropped in price as it nears its end date, representing better value. But the same applies to the 14th-gen incoming with better iGPU and, no doubt, more refinement, so maybe it's worth waiting for that? It is a pass for the here and now, as maybe Dell is trying a bit too hard with this.
So glass bottom? So I'm assuming it will break if it falls off the bed? I turn off touch screen first thing. Plus I have found touchscreens are more prone to brakage. Seems like durability was compromised for good looks?
This laptop is absolute trash. The mouse pad makes this absolute trash fire impossible to type on. The rubber pads on the bottom last about a day and it is riddled with bugs. I have never had this many technical and non-technical/design problems. I cannot stress enough how bad this laptoptop is
Yeah Dell's quality control seriously needs improvement. The XPS 13 that I tried had left speaker issue. Its like something like a grain of sand is caught inside. It also run hot with the fan always running no matter the settings or CPU load. Needs improvement.
@@muhammad-bin-american it's not new, dell alaways has problems with fans. On all their latitude and precision series we had loudy fans for no reason.

Do you recommend the XPS 13 over the Surface Laptop 5?
Thank you for a great review!
Thank you for watching!

There’s only a silver version it’s not that pretty as the other versions
