I'm a member of their patreon but I get excited when I see the general public discovering their stuff. I'm so ready for this game. I kinda wanna make a para to befriend all the ones they've introduced so far
I feel for the people who were so excited by LBY, but without a big design overhaul I never saw it having much longevity. The ui was the biggest thing I could not see many players vibing with. Paralives has always had a visual appeal to it. I hope the people who aren’t usually into the art style will be able to get used to it with the game play and clean ui.
I've always liked Paralives' style and I feel like they're more in tune with the trend of animation. You know how Spiderverse made almost every animation studios to try that 2.5D stylish look and basically proved that these styles can also work to many people? Before, I think this style only existed in anime, but after spiderverse, there was Arcane, Puss in Boots: Last Wish, Nimona..etc.. so many animation studios wanted to make their own stylized 2.5D look, even DISNEY with Wish. So personally, I think this art direction is much more sensible, also it kinda works better if you're a small company. My friend talked about this style and he hated it just because it looks too cheap and while I know where he is coming from, I feel like people who prefer realistic style can be rude to any other styles for some reason? saying "It looks too much like indie game" like, I get it you want TECHNOLOGY TO EVOLVE but technology WILL get better anyway it's not like we can stop it and people will keep on trying to make things look more realistic, however stylized animation or any kind of art can easily be ignored in the process. Btw Life By You, while some of the gaming features were intersting, I didn't like the style and animation. It just looked like they literally used Unreal Engine assets and didn't bother to think more about their own style, their own brand.
Yaass, can't wait for Paralives, the game does feel more polished and the performance is so smooth, way smoother than The Sims 4 even the game will have bugs on early access release, and the gameplay, like god it was the best, hope the team was release this in a good state

That is honestly so crazy when you think about how many people and how much money was involved in Life by You as compared to Paralives. It makes LBY a ten times bigger failure imo.
Life By You has looked like a cheaply made Unity-flip from the start ... Paralives on the other hand looks great. The custom UI, assets, art style, customization .... it's wild

Still have InZOI too. Hopefully. Even though its been a while since we heard from that team. HOPE they are doing ok. 👍 Still SAD about LBU though. Bummer. 😔
I have too many concerns about Inzoi to be excited for it. Mainly the company behind them and what they'll likely do to the game. Too llittle is known about Vivaland so in the 3D life sim world, so I think that leaves just Paralives.
@@Elwaves2925 There are a lot of videos on InZoi, gameplay and all, they just had a video on it not too long ago, also early access is this year for the game.

I really do feel like paralives will really make a lot of money when it officially releases. Like build mode alone already surpassed sims by far. Then the seasons (weather) being in the base game?? That had me sold. But then all the extra details with making a para and the detail and fluency when para’s are interacting with each other while doing things like cooking?? Has me sold. It’s the little details that i always wanted but thought i would never get unless i played secondlife or download mods for sims is just like amazing. If it’s one game i am going to buy outside of gta 6? It’s definitely paralives. Sims really has to come with it for me to buy it.
Of course I’m looking forward to Paralives but I’m most excited for INZOI I hope it’s not like them other “life sim” games on steam that looks great then super disappointing when you actually play it
I cannot wait for the build capabilities of Paralives as a sims builder. It’s just so limiting sometimes and Paralives looks like we’ll have freedom to do exactly what we’re thinking
seeing some of the new characters hairstyles and stuff is so awesome, i wasn't too keen on the style at first because they mostly all looked like the same pesron but now i see how different everyone looks and it's so cool. sims has real competition now, i think paralives is going to kill it and i'm excited for it.
I really, really like the promise this game has - I love the look of it and yes - I do really think that it will give Sims 4 some serious competition! Bring it on!
I wanted LBY for the customisation/building and Paralives for the gameplay. With LBY off the field it really is just Paralives left (right now) for the 3D life sim world. Too little is known about the others (Vivaland etc) and I have too many big concerns regarding Inzoi to count that.
@@demo2823 Agreed but not to the level that LBY was promising. Which is understandable as it's only an indie. Not that it matters now as LBY sleeping with the fishes.

I think they deserve that spot.
Ive been following this game from the very beginning and i just want it now, I'm insanely excited and want this game to be the best it can be. I'll be 20 when early access comes out and that sounds crazy to me, but im just so excited
The real question is why is everyone is now pretending they care about Paralives? I saw comments from months from people bashing Paralives saying it wasn't real, it's taking people's money, now that LBY is canceled, they're on the Paralives hype train....SMH!!!!
I was never that excited for Life By You either, but I think a lot of people were just excited that there were several upcoming competitors for EA in the life simulation genre, and they're disappointed that one of them has been canceled. Plus, didn't one of the developers for Life By You previously work on one of the earlier Sims games? If I'm remembering that correctly, maybe people thought it could have potential because of that.
paralives seems sooooooooo good like it’s everything i want but let’s manage our expectations. I really don’t want to be disappointed by another promising game ☹️
finally! you’ve definitely not given paralives the love and attention it deserves so far! it has the most to show for with its extensive roadmap(s!!!!), dev chats and public patreon posts
Looking at the clips of the original mechanics in the game, from placing items to shaping lots/homes(does anyone remember the bunkbed clip?), I wonder if any of that has changed. So excited tho, I’ll pre order as soon as it announced❤❤❤
The art style bothers me but I will deal with it to give it a chance, lmao. The environment looks good but then the Parafolk look so childish like it just clashes tbh. A lot of the clothing and hair looks so outdated.
Didn't even hear of Life By You until I saw a video about it being canceled tbh. Unfortunate that happened but I've always been excited about Paralives, looks really cool.
I'm so excited for Paralives! While I'm sad Life by You isn't happening, Paralives was my clear favourite from the start. So far, I've been loving everything I've seen about the game. Can't wait to be finally able to play it!
I knew that Life by You wouldn't work out. The way Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive is right now as shown in Cities Skylines 2 shows they abandoned the playerbase
This game looks promising and cozy, but I dislike how the Paras are drawn to look like paper dolls with a lot of blush on their cheeks. I prefer the look of InZoi, but I appreciate what Paralives is trying to do. It looks a thousand times better than LBY though, and at least they have a definite art style.
The high level of blush is on characters with pale skin mostly, and is normal for people like that. I personally love it. Makes it look less like they're wearing foundation.
Don't care how the game LOOKS, to me the gameplay is what determine if this game will be successful or not. Same with Inzoi, Vivaland and any other life simulation coming up, including Project Renee/Sims 5. Sims 4 will be the LAST time that I will play a game that is more about the LOOK of the game but have lackluster, buggy, mediocre gameplay. I'm still not a fan of the cartoony look of Paralives but if the gameplay is great, I will be willing to overlook it like I did with Sims 3, hated the look of the Sims but loved the gameplay.
This does intrigue me more than InZoi, seeing how the babies were in the gameplay I saw, put me right off it lol! People says Sims was glitchy at the start, but that took weird glitches to a whole new level when you can't even interact with the child, it was in early access, like a trial but still weird to me to include the feature if it's not complete lol! It's also more like a walking simulator where you just go and do a job, and even the exciting job they made it tedious. It didnt entice me at all. This looks so much better, more family orientated and the build and buy looks definitely easier to navigate so it has my vote. I love how you can build on and off grid too! 😍 I do wish they were bringing it to Console too, because Sims 5 is going to beat them there. Consoles are becoming as powerful as PCs and I'm pretty sure it's easier to port it now then do it later. I play more on my Series X than my PC because the graphics are superior. In fact Sims is the only game I really play on my PC, I will likely be getting a new PC by next year but yep they're missing a trick not releasing on Console too!
All I know is that they need to take their time and not rush a release because this game looks so much better than Life By You and even Sims 4. The graphics are perfect and the build quality is chef's kiss.
I’ve been following and supporting Paralives since 2019. It’s the game I am most excited for, and has been ever since I’ve been following. Between the art style and sims-like flow of the game, it’s just charming in my opinion
Paralives has definitely been the one I've been most excited for, it seems the most like it has a strong creative vision. Life By You, as curious as I was about it, didn't show enough of what they were often beyond the toolset, so it felt a bit like they were expecting fans to make most of its contents. And without an actual visual direction you're not going to inspire much creativity in CC modders.
As I've said since the announcement of this game: I am both so excited that I cannot wait, and so excited that I will wait however long it takes! Let the developers cook, they clearly know what they are doing.
I love the style of Paralives. Maybe not the UI, but it's not finished game, it's in development (it's not even alpha!) and it won't look like that. And people forget how did Sims 4 look when it was leaked before release, also how did it look when it was first released. I know it was 10 years ago, but looking at the fact that it was made by billion dollar company and Paralives is made by indie studio says something. I'm sure Paralives will be more polished on release day than Sims 4 will ever be.

Loving the improvements to the parafolks, hair and makeup looks more textured and the clothing more detailed, build mode looks great too, looking forward to seeing how things go from now till it comes out.
Really has a good aesthetic that i like, the music is really chilled too!
im so excited to be able to play it in early release. idc if they have bugs bc ik theyll LISTEN!!!
Finally you get back to paralives! They've had a few public posts since the last one you did and I was desperately waiting for you to cover it. I'm a member of their patreon but I get excited when I see the general public discovering their stuff. I'm so ready for this game. I kinda wanna make a para to befriend all the ones they've introduced so far
11:42 that bedroom looks amazing!!
And it's on base game, you don't need a DLC lol
I feel for the people who were so excited by LBY, but without a big design overhaul I never saw it having much longevity.
The ui was the biggest thing I could not see many players vibing with.
Paralives has always had a visual appeal to it. I hope the people who aren’t usually into the art style will be able to get used to it with the game play and clean ui.
I like that it gives you actual measurements like you would find in IRL floor plans
Yaass, can't wait for Paralives, the game does feel more polished and the performance is so smooth, way smoother than The Sims 4 even the game will have bugs on early access release, and the gameplay, like god it was the best, hope the team was release this in a good state
Bro I was watching them place the walls completely random and I thought “man. Shell challenges are gonna be insane” and then he said the exact same thing. My heart actually stopped for a second. I thought he read my mind
You're so endearing and heartfelt towards the Paralives team in your titles. You are such a kind soul. Love being subbed
There still something about the heavy lines on the bodies that weirds me out. Especially the shoulder blades when they were showing off the dresses.
That is honestly so crazy when you think about how many people and how much money was involved in Life by You as compared to Paralives. It makes LBY a ten times bigger failure imo.
Life By You has looked like a cheaply made Unity-flip from the start ... Paralives on the other hand looks great. The custom UI, assets, art style, customization .... it's wild
I think what i love the most about paralives is how the design looks like telltale games, i know this game be fun
I need some high high heels. 👠 can you imagine the CC? See you guys next year and I’m sorry about Life by You. I really wish we had made it oh hey Pixelate
@@HarryClipzFilmz I know, I've seen them but obviously none of them highlight what the publisher (Grafton) might do to the game for launch. Grafton are heavily into the mobile market, which could mean a microtransaction crapfest. We don't know yet, hence my concerns and not getting excited for it until I know for certain. 🙂
The 6 dislikes are from EA
How do you see the dislikes?
@@ariannapommellsPc
I just noticed at 1:44 that the time/clock is still going meaning you can customise your world in live mode and not just pause the game🤯🤓❤
been scrolling for this comment like did no one else see this😂
Might be a bug since these are development sneakpeeks before even early access
One of the most aesthetic lifesims I've ever seen. No, it's not super realistic, but that art style just radiates chill vibes. Cozy game of the year, I can see it already.
Of course I’m looking forward to Paralives but I’m most excited for INZOI I hope it’s not like them other “life sim” games on steam that looks great then super disappointing when you actually play it
Honestly the style looks style of the characters remind me of a telltale game, absolutely obsessed
paralives has reigned supreme in my head since the first video they posted in 2019
I am extatic for this game, i play the sims exclusively to build and this seems like so much more fun
I cannot wait for the build capabilities of Paralives as a sims builder. It’s just so limiting sometimes and Paralives looks like we’ll have freedom to do exactly what we’re thinking
I'm so hype to make CC for this game 😍
seeing some of the new characters hairstyles and stuff is so awesome, i wasn't too keen on the style at first because they mostly all looked like the same pesron but now i see how different everyone looks and it's so cool. sims has real competition now, i think paralives is going to kill it and i'm excited for it.
I really, really like the promise this game has - I love the look of it and yes - I do really think that it will give Sims 4 some serious competition! Bring it on!
The fact that you can take grid off!!! Yessss!!!
10:37 this dress made my day, im obsessed with it AND OMG THE LIPSTICK VARIATIONS
I keep myself from jumping onto the hype train, but this is the one I'm most hopeful about.
When Paralives comes out, I am definitely going to make some content about it.
I wanted LBY for the customisation/building and Paralives for the gameplay. With LBY off the field it really is just Paralives left (right now) for the 3D life sim world. Too little is known about the others (Vivaland etc) and I have too many big concerns regarding Inzoi to count that.
Paralives has great customisation- free grid, colour wheel, layerable clothing.
@@demo2823 Agreed but not to the level that LBY was promising. Which is understandable as it's only an indie. Not that it matters now as LBY sleeping with the fishes.
You know honestly I always been in love with paralives. They just have a art style I love and although I love Inzoi type graphics I feel the art style we see in paralives just works! To me life by you seemed like a disaster project. The characters were terrible and something just seemed off. I eventually lost interest. But paralives idk... I mean I think the characters look cute! I love the details I love how their taking their time improving everything. I am actually really thrilled this game was and in my opinion still is the competitive game of the sims. I think they deserve that spot.
Ive been following this game from the very beginning and i just want it now, I'm insanely excited and want this game to be the best it can be. I'll be 20 when early access comes out and that sounds crazy to me, but im just so excited
Why is everyone so upset about Life by You being canceled? It always kinda felt off to me from the beginning.
The real question is why is everyone is now pretending they care about Paralives?
I saw comments from months from people bashing Paralives saying it wasn't real, it's taking people's money, now that LBY is canceled, they're on the Paralives hype train....SMH!!!!
Yeah it looked ugly af. That works for something like Crusader Kings but not really for a cozy life sim.
@@audreytwo exactly!
It lookes fugly asf but it was originally going to be the first new life sim to come out before the delays lol
I'm not sure why, but I feel like Paralives is going to be the Stardew Valley of life sims. Does that even make sense?
paralives seems sooooooooo good like it’s everything i want but let’s manage our expectations.
I really like the art style. I just hope the gameplay is fun and quirky
The art style bothers me but I will deal with it to give it a chance, lmao. The environment looks good but then the Parafolk look so childish like it just clashes tbh.
A lot of the clothing and hair looks so outdated.
The excitement I feel about this game is insane. Omg. ❤
I think paralives is looking better and better. I’m really glad I decided to contribute to their Patreon. I desperately want this game to succeed.
Didn't even hear of Life By You until I saw a video about it being canceled tbh. Unfortunate that happened but I've always been excited about Paralives, looks really cool.
This is gonna be a really fun game and useful tool for interior design. I love building things in the sims so this is gonna be amazing.
I'm so excited for Paralives! While I'm sad Life by You isn't happening, Paralives was my clear favourite from the start. So far, I've been loving everything I've seen about the game. Can't wait to be finally able to play it!
I knew that Life by You wouldn't work out. The way Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive is right now as shown in Cities Skylines 2 shows they abandoned the playerbase
ngl I kinda always preferred Paralives anyways soooo (no hate to Life by You but I didn't care all that much for that game)
The blush is adjustable! You're able to make the blush more/less visible so if that's something you don't like it will be adjustable in the future
The high level of blush is on characters with pale skin mostly, and is normal for people like that. I personally love it. Makes it look less like they're wearing foundation.
The permanent blush look is a weird choice, tbh. I think theyd look better without it.
A completely different art style from each other.
I hope we can do half and half split custom hair color with all hairs. Roots, tips, or split left and right side.
Been following Paralives since 2019. And their weekly Patreon updates never disappoint, honestly so happy to support them. And so excited for 2025
Don't care how the game LOOKS, to me the gameplay is what determine if this game will be successful or not.
EA must be very worried at this point. I hope they leave them alone.
I really love their art style 😭
So many things I want to do but can’t in the sims…I’m so excited for this…
This does intrigue me more than InZoi, seeing how the babies were in the gameplay I saw, put me right off it lol!
I do wish they were bringing it to Console too, because Sims 5 is going to beat them there.
Can't wait for it, honestly
PLEASE make a video on the game denizen. It looks like so much fun and it’s a life simulator that is actually pre released!
I love how the plus size paras look!
I could listen to that plopping sound the walls make all day
Love the build tools in Paralives! Should be so fun!!
I just love the art style of this game a lot, I cannot wait for it to come out!
the reason why this game is going to succeed, its cause its giving us the tiny little details that we've been BEGGING EA for, for years
As I've said since the announcement of this game: I am both so excited that I cannot wait, and so excited that I will wait however long it takes!
Awesome. Paralives is so perfect! I hope the basegame will be free and I hope my PC can handle this game 🙏💚
