I seldom play in DADGAD any more, but his seminar was much more about music making than it was about tuning, or, for that matter, guitar.
That is a brilliant description of Pierre's new album (and his music in general). Thanks for uploading this quality recording of one of my favorite artists ever.

i wish the older video would resurface of this song wearing a complete blue suit ,and he did his scat style vocals along with the last 1/3 of the song hymn 11
@lifelongfan07 classical guitars don't have pins. only steel stringed guitars do. and yes it is a very nice guitar, i myself have a takamine electro-classical and i adore it, it is beautiful to play :)

Yes, I had the blue suit video but lost it somewhere. That was from a performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.

The "New Lady" is really a fine instrument. I noticed it doesn't have pins and the strings go through the bridge. I'd buy one if I had 9k.
It is steel strung but has a "through bridge" design. Generally with better string stability and resonance. Most Lowdens use this design.
was this at the IMT concert a couple weeks ago? pierre has gone back to acoustic?
@mrjohnbutler Pierre's guitar is steel stringed it is not a classical guitar and it doesn't have bridge pins.
