#Mexico #America #AMLO
If mexico does not have criminals or corruption, they would be one of the strongest nations in the world
Well, who's gonna' supply the drug fiend next door?!
That's 90% of the population you're removing
As my grandmother used to say. "Mexico not in 200 years my son".
And if horses had wings they could fly. Their failed culture does not include personal responsibility.
Failed culture?
Corruption in mexico is so institutionalized it will be hard to get rid of by any politicians. Bribes work when getting arrested, with pharmacists, with paperwork you need move through beuacracy quickly etc. after living there for a couple years… it just becomes part of how you interact. Don’t miss that!
They score 15 to 20 points lower on every test. You can't be less than 5 points lower and have a working civilization. They are incapable of long term thinking and its consequences.
No senor se esta c eradication claro siempre quedara algo
Americans never address the problem of addiction on their part, that has gone so out of control that it’s funding multiple paramilitary cartels and keeping their lights on, and also the weapons brought into Mexico is never mentioned. What is being done about keeping people off drugs and stopping the illegal trade of firearms?
Since a lot of this involves things crossing the border illegally, I'd think the first step would be for both sides to vigorously enforce the law along the border. If only there was some way to prevent things going across except at specific points where law enforcement can regulate it- like, I dunno, a wall?

El problema es que eeuu debe de quitar el bloqueo a países del sur de América y el caribe

Mexico has EVERYTHING to become not only a regional power next to the US, but also a world wide power. It has cheap labor, a young educated labor force, natural resources, land size, access to Pacific & Atlantic Ocean, no regional enemies or threats, friends with the US & Canada (no one other than the US would dare attack them, attacking Mexico would result in direct Us involvement) ever growing foreign direct investment from all over the world, a growing tourism sector, among the richest culture. Mexico’s only problem is itself.
Sinaloan Cartel: Por Favor Amigo, Hold Our TEQUILAs 🥃
Mexico's only problem is USA.. It's always been them, always will be the Washington cartel.. Plus, with Malincha n Santa Ana's children still running around in Mexico, they'll always seek to hand Mexico over to whatever empire rules the world (USA) n let's them govern Mexico as their puppets.. Reason why USA hates AMLO n Claudia n loved PRI/PAN politicians..

Producing drugs in Mexico and South America and selling them in North America and in other parts of the world has basically become an international business with enablers in all levels of governments and at the executive levels in many multinational corporations.
I think there is an equal duty and responsibility on both sides of the supply and demand sides of this business to try and control it and try to make it legal and legitimate.
I am sure there is some illegal and criminal activity that goes on in the production and selling of liquor, beer, wine, tobacco and pharmaceutical drugs but governments and the businesses that produce and sell them for the most part compete and operate according to rules and laws that have been agreed to.
If the countries that produce and consume drugs recognize that they are both equally responsible to produce and enforce legislation that can transformer the drug trade into a legal business, there will probably be a significant reduction in the gang violence that presently controls this business.
I agree with you. I have to say the main issue is that the countries that produce are poor and the country that consumes is the largest economy in history and they do nothing on their side, in fact you can still see how they allow the "party culture" and TV shows and movies to promote drug consumtion. In Latin America this has been an issue of decades that has concluded in narcos having more money and military equipment than our states and they are now the ones that run the show. In fact there is people from FBI and CIA that are in the drug selling business and even people from all over the world there are even cartels financed by China. The US let this problem grow too big but it never seemed that they cared it even seems like they promote the drug cartels... Drug cartels go arrouns with US american military equipment and pay with USD while even using ex US military guys as body guards and having shareholders from important US institutions.
AMLO keeps a "live and let live" woth the cartels. They keep the violence out the street, the govt wont directly interfere. The lead lady candidate has a similar mind set.
Obviously they want to expell the cartels but with their vash membership, wealth and willingness to commit public violence against anybody, it's easier said than done. The US could help but it would cost citizens their lives and property.
Bukele style working could help
@@karankapoor2701 nope. Mexican cartels are far more powerful than el savador gangs plus mexico is far bigger with lot of land the cartels can hide and plan in

2:25 incorrect translation. He said he’ll tell their parents and grandparents. It’s like joking but not really he’s going to tell your parents and grandparents you are doing illegal things.
Mexico's prosperity relies upon its relationship with the u.s. Let's hope she acknowledge this simple fact. Stop the victimization attitude and get on-board.
Not a problem. In about 20 to 30 years they are expected to be the majority in the US. Then the US will be just like them, a third world country. But relations will be great.
No clue
Just a note: INAI was not really created under Peña Nieto's administration, it was actually created under Fox's regime, around the early 2000s as IFAI (Federal transparency). It was later renamed as INAI (National Transparency) under Peña Nieto's.
Yes, next question.
Bless Mexico rise to progress, Blessings from america.
Amlo should've taken a page out of Bukele's notepad when it comes to dealing with violence and lack of security.
Mexico is not El Salvador. Drugs have to go through Mexico to the US, gangs could just go around El Salvador. The level of resistance wouldn't be the same at all.
Bukele's strategy was the one followed in the past in Mexico and the one that caused all this violence. I'm glad that it worked there in El Salvador but you must take into account that this country has less population than Mexico City alone. Without forgetting that Bukele faced gangs and not paramilitary groups that take entire communities hostage when they feel threatened.
It’s impossible to do because El Salvador is a tiny country, it easy to target the criminal gangs and where they are concentrated. Mexico is 30x the size and mountainous - it’s akin to the US going into Afghanistan and expecting to win.
Mexico could ask the US for real military aid and intel, as well as special forces from Western Europe where cartels have also made a mark. Basically, a coalition would be needed, and Mexico would need to be divided into various smaller sectors with closed borders and basically have special forces conduct raids until they dismantle them.
An international tribunal would also need to audit every Mexican federal official to start, and go down all the way to state level audits.
But sadly, the US has zero REAL interest in actually helping out, apparently the status quo is fine. And Mexicans are too fcking nationalistic to ask for help from other countries. I think Mexico can solve the problem, but with foreign help, but we won’t see the country rid itself from Organized Crime and the widespread corruption that it is infested with.
El Salvador is literally a speck of land smaller than Mexico City.

It's so hard to fight corruption once it has saturated society like this. It's also basically impossible to defeat the cartels given they have an infinite drug money pit right next door. Only US drug legalization can destroy their income source and that will never happen.
A socialist leader while screaming equal rights will only be interested in lining their own pockets with blood money.
Or americans can just stop doing drugs... but you are prob against that
@nenasiek I'm totally for that if you can achieve it, but after 50+ years of war on drugs demand in the US has gotten even worse rather than being destroyed.

Narcotraficantés would be financially hobbled if the Mexicans had legalized drugs, yet Mexico is blindly bound to the failed policy of criminalization creating multimillionaire drug cartels easily able to buy, intimidate or simply disallow voting. Weak governments like these are essentially narco-states cloaked in a false venir of democracy. Legalized drugs would sufficiently weaken the drug cartels to the point of being brought to heel, or greatly diminished.

Best president of the word. AMLO is the real thing, government of the people.
What I see is Mexicans do seem hopeful in AMLO and Claudia, they view them as very anti corruption even if their policies are failing and it looks really nice seeing them have a very happy look for the future of their homeland, and my dad keeps looking into the new construction projects.
I am disappointed you are using AI voice readers
The Mexican people have voted and it’s clear they’re much happier with this new party - by a landslide. They talk about things getting better for Mexico, but all I hear is Americans and Europeans talking smack. Maybe a little humility is in order: it’s easy to have armchair opinions when you don’t live there. Personally, I think Mexico has a bright future as it comes into its own on the word stage and I hope the next 6 years are the best yet.
AMLO still loved by most of Mexican people due to his charisma and skill to easily connect with the most poor sectors of the people (which is not exactly small), something that most of politicians in mexico and abroad cant.
The fact that Mexicans dont believe there is a real alternative is real, the other main candidate for this elections is basically a joke, representing the PRI that ruled the country for 70 years that produced that huge level of corruption in the government and that gave us one of the most corrupt regimes leaded by Peña Nieto and also representing PAN, they held power from 2000-2012, they declared the ''war on drugs'' policies that only started the bloodshed that the country still suffers, (btw the fast and furious scandal happened during this administration, allowing those military type guns to cross the border and given to cartels).
I think that AMLO deserves lots of criticism, for example during his campaign for elections he promised legalize marihuana and other soft drugs (something that the US had to do with alcohol when they faced those problems with mafias during the 20's). But when he reached power he quickly forgot about that possibility.
Other big mistake is allowing former politicians from the most corrupt parties to join MORENA but well, in the US both democrats and republicans are not corrupt because lobbying is legal, nice trick to keep the corruption low, talking about self criticism!
Lobbying is legal everywhere...
This 4th Transformation under president AMLO is nothing like the past rulers of Mexico.. This is a Nationalist movement ruling Mexico now.. USA forces it's ppl to think that socialism is bad, but tell me, is SSI, Medicaid n Medicare bad?? Those are socialist programs.. Free college n University for anyone who wants to be something other than a worker ant is bad?? Who does that threaten if not the fools making tons of money from that?? The Mexican ppl know better, that's why his approval rating is n has always been 60-80% n no less..
AMLO is loved bcuz he defended Mexico from the gringo takeover of that nation's natural resources.. Rescued PEMEX, Nationalized it's Lithium, rescued it's electrical grid CFE, which is mostly government ran, increased minimun wage by 200% which was super low bcuz obviously USA wanted to make huge profit from sending all it's major companies over there, aka near shoring once they got hostile with China.. AMLO is popular bcuz he defended Mexico's national interests, not USA's interests.. He shrunk extreme poverty, brought millions of Mexicans into the middle class.. Why you think Mexican illegal immigration is record low?? USA is forced into allowing illegals from around the world bcuz the gifted n multi talented Mexican labor force isn't crossing over to USA..
Yeah but the food is still pucker tucker
As someone with family in Mexico, yes, AMLO let the cartels do whatever they want.
That’s has been happening since Calderon 😂
Reality is, there probably needs to be a MASSIVE joint US - Mexico collaboration. US businesses given huge incentives to open in Mexico, tons of security from both nations, efforts to make English required for high school graduation in Mexico, HEAVY focus on counter-drug operations in both countries. Unfortunately, probably will never happen and Mexico will continue to slide further into the control of the cartels.
Why? Mexico in hands of the cartels is exactly what the Washington wants
Let me say I love Mexico it people and culture. When I see Socialist in charge of Mexico.
I Rememeber what my dad told me and his father told him.

They'll change or interprate the constitution to suit their agenda!
Know your history! Mexico has a bad habit of hideing it's past. And revising history especialy in its state run schools and the books it uses.
There was war fought over these issues before.
Just a reminder,

Mexicans def don’t like having a cartel puppet in power. They may accept it because there’s no other alternative, but that’s not evidence of them liking it. Also, there’s no evidence that Argentinians dislike Milei b/c they understand that tough measures have to be taken in order to stop the economic destruction that the socialist unleashed onto their country over the past 3/4 century. And they def appreciate the fact that he’s gotten rid of so many useless, corrupt, & lecherous government agencies, & the resultant savings to the taxpayer
