Looking at buying an International CV and I think I will do this same thing. Great video, easy to follow along with, thanks for sharing this information.
Thank you, if you go with a 4WD model that has rear leaf springs you should seriously consider these Super Springs (SSA52) you can buy a half set if you have a bucket or crane adding weight to one side. They take 30-45 minutes to install with caveman tools. www.supersprings.com/shop/ssa52/
Anyone looking to get this power inverter kit, here you go - They are on limited release based on availability of parts. harnessdr.com/product/2014-2018-silverado-sierra-power-inverter-kit/
I'm looking for just the invertor mine in 2014 had a blown fuse replaced and still doesn't work so I'm hoping if I change invertor it will have power ???
Amazing Channel. Interesting too... I was thinking of adding a rough country or auxbeam switch panel in that little storage cubby in my 2018. Low and behold, I start watching the video and you've done exactly that! Which switch controller/box did you go with?
Yes, the Silverado 4500-6500 & International CV are built on the ‘14-‘19 body. While the 1/2 tons went new in ‘19 & the HDs in ‘20 the MD lineup is based on the leftover cache of parts.
You can! You just need to take a multimeter and find the fuse that gives power when your car is off. So, turn your car off, then take the multimeter and probe the fuse terminals. If one gives power, you want to move the location of the original fuse to the location of the one you found.
You wouldn't happen to know how to override the auto off feature on the rear cab cargo lights?I have a headache rack with lights tied into the bed cargo lights and they go off when in drive. Its for jobsite and offroad use but kinda useless as is....work in reverse just fine just no drive.
No, I’m sure there is an easy way to, just never wanted to. Rear facing lights can get you in trouble so that’s probably why they’ve made them the way they did. Have you considered the off road light switch mod for the cargo lights?
@@kevefox I dont want any additional switches or holes in my dash.I have a 2016 GMC with a center console that has the switch array under the 7"screen.Thats the switch they are on just tapped the circuit in the bed.i didn't want to go poking around under the dash unless I knew where to look?any info would be greatly appreciated.thanks

Good think my 15 Chevy LT already came with that Accessory👌 good video tho
This is slick as hell. This harness works on a 2015 Silverado 1500? I've wanted to have that plug forever like this.
Yes, bolts right up.
I was wondering where did your get the 2020 chevy Silverado wire harness ? I see the website but can't find the wire harness !
Great video ! Any idea on the amp draw limits of this OEM set up ?
I have a 2006 express chevy cargo van I wanna put the outlet in mine but can't seem to find the plug for the dash
I’m looking to install this same setup on my 16 Silverado but I looked on the website I was not able to find the wire.
I just texted Phil at harnessdr.com/. He says he has them in stock, email him at sales@harness.com
What is the function of the wires that go to the X61A Junction Box?
How can I get more power out of my inverter? I’m looking to run a few small appliances. Crock pot, mini fridge, small led light
Looking to add an inverter and dash outlet to my 2021 2500hd. Would you happen to know if it’s relatively the same process?
Excellent video by the way!
Can you tell me what size fuse the 110v takes so maybe I can replace it and it may work for my 2018 hybrid?
106V 60Hz for Chevrolet Express U Haul Closed Van.
Hey, did the compartment replacement come with with outlet already. Or do you have to buy out separate?
It came with the outlet. Search the part number on eBay and you’ll get lots of results.
is the inverter pure sine?
The kit doesn’t go up to the 2019…will it still work?

I wish my power outlet were able to be used with my ignition off.
