This never gets old. Short of beating FSU for our first title, beating LSU was about as good as it gets.
We did it that way in all 3 sports. Beat our 2nd biggest rival for our first title in football, beat the most storied program in college basketball for our first title in basketball and the most storied program in our conference for our first baseball title.
I was in the outfield for this series probably the best moment of my life Go gators

Edit: yes I realize that Florida scores 6 runs, but two runs would’ve given them a 1 run lead in that 8th inning, and we never know how different it would’ve been.

Nick Coomes and Slaughter was the MVP for Florida that game. LSU I think could've pulled it off in game 1, but PM left the starting pitcher in too long.
