- LSU Baseball and Florida Baseball played in the 2023 College World Series National Championship Game. It was Game 3 of the CWS Finals, with the winner being crowned National Champions!

The best part of my work as a RUclipsr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other RUclipsrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

This is my first time watching college baseball and I can easily say that this level of soooo much more entertaining than most big league games. Unreal run by LSU. 🤘🏼

The greatest College World Series I’ve seen. One of these greatest LSU Baseball teams I’ve ever seen. This team kept their heads down after that embarrassing loss, and proceeded to beat Florida for the title by 14 runs. The performances from the bullpen all postseason has to be the most Skip Bertman Hold-The-Rope-esque stuff I’ve ever seen. We saw a once in a while pitcher torment batters, and arguably the greatest position player to put on an LSU uniform. Beloso, Travinski, Dugas, Jobert, Morgan, and especially Thompson all stepped up in pivotal moments throughout the season, you can’t ask more from them. LSU athletics have won two national championships in a span of 85 days, and won their 51st altogether, which is the most in the SEC. Greatness.
You realize they didn’t even try to win game 2 right
@@reiseclark4908 There’s a difference between not trying to win, and simply giving up when the game is out of reach. They mentally checked out of that gave after the 5th and prepared themselves for Game 3, and we all know the outcome now.
@thisisgreat8309 Well I’m born, raised, and currently live in Louisiana. Also has family that graduated and/or attended LSU, and I’ve seen LSU win two baseball national championships in my lifetime.

Going from losing by 20 to beating the same team by double digits the next day is a crazy turnaround
And you know what's even more crazy? The previous game LSU lost by 10+, the next game they did the same thing and won by 10+. They did it again tonight for the natty, GOAT moves!

Being in Omaha behind first base for all 3 games was incredible. The way this team fought was amazing to watch. We partied hard before and after the games and this was truly a memorable trip. The energy here for the last 3 days was indescribable. Geaux Tigahs.
I got to experience Omaha with the Sooners last year and I couldn't have been more bummed that they fell short this year. Omaha is a special place

That's an extremely mind blowing statistic, and I doubt we will see anything like that ever again in a 2 game stretch, let alone a 2 game stretch in the world series. One of the best college seasons I've had the pleasure of watching. The teams this year were extraordinary. Vandy, wake forest, LSU , Florida, TSU, and so many more teams were just incredible, my very small lost doesn't do college baseball justice for how incredible to watch it has been ALL season!

I thought this was going to be a long night after giving up a hit and a home run to the first 2 batters but Thatcher Hurd just started dealing. So happy for this team and them winning it all. I'm happy for Jordan Thompson too. He could have let his at bats from the past 10 plus games and yesterday derail him and he didn't. He got 2 big hits, drove in a few and played great D. What a ride this was. Congrats to this whole team. They earned it and had to do it the hard way after losing a game. GEAUX TIGERS!

THEY FINALLY DID IT!!! I know I had doubts about this teams' pitching near the end of the regular season, but *man* did they get hot at the exact right time! This couldn't have happened to a more talented, more passionate, more incredible bunch of kids, even if a run like this ever happened again! Not to mention the incredible energy of the LSU faithful in Omaha, it must have sounded like Death Valley up there! I'll also give props to that awesome Florida Gators team; they were also incredible and they played one hell of a second game against us! GG Gators! Great Coaching by LSU. Had to win game 1. Good game management. Game 2 was not looking good so he didn't waste his best pitchers he had left. Game 3, had the players batting for base hits instead of long balls. I think LSU ran out of gas after game 1. The victory sucked what little they had left out of them. Florida was riding too high after the blow out and it cost them in the last game, and LSU found the lightening Florida let go of.
The best game of all was Wake and LSU. 11 tough innings won by a walkoff. A true classic with pitching and defense.

Florida’s pitching really put them in trouble. As a Tigers fan I’m not complaining, but I was shocked how long the gators let their pitchers struggle. Either way, great team vs great team and I’m happy LSU came out on top. Keep ya head up gator nation. GEAUX Tigers!
