Man Michigan did not look as sharp as they have recently...errors hurt and cannot be made against a team like Vandy unfortunately they are that good especially with that Rocker guy on the mound...praying for a game 3 miracle

I sat there and couldn't figure out how the heck they ended up winning because the whole time i was thinking "well those errors will catch up to them at some point". also the catcher for michigan is a liability, defensively. i assume he's there as a serviceable catcher but mainly to hit because the kid has horrible technique when he has to block a ball.

Game 1 they played a lot more consistently and got a good pitching performance from their starter. Sure, Michigan's strength of schedule wasn't as difficult as tough as vanderbilts. But they had a pretty damn tough road to get to the college world series. Game 1 wasn't a fluke and does an injustice to their performance. You want to say that playing in the toughest conference supposedly hardens you and makes it easy when playing big games against teams like michigan, well what happened to vanderbilts starter in game 1 besides walking a ton of guys and giving up a good amount of hard hit balls.

In no way did Michigan deserve to win this game. Bakich essentially took a knee on this game and wanted to give Kauffman an extra day rest. However, the strike zone for Michigan hitters was like Richie Sexton was batting and the strike zone for vandy hitters was like altuve was batting. Just some consistency.
