Grand Opening Bergman Express At Keystone Ski Resort 2024

The Bergman Express lift opened for the 2023 - 2024 Season at Keystone Ski Resort in Colorado. I was lucky enough to be 5th chair and experience the ceremony and be part of Keystone's history.
Until now this was all hike to terrain.

Nice, glad you got to experience the ribbon cutting!
Got to say, it freaks me out every time you ride a lift without dropping the bar. You can't buy insurance after you need it, and more than once I've been on a lift that stopped suddenly enough throw me forwards. I just cant picture not having that bar down in front of me during the ride...

I guess we’re just sort of used to it. The Bergman lift actually stopped suddenly on our way up opening day even. Ha ha.
