    I've had one of these since 2022 and have been very happy with it.

    Fantastic review! This was/is my first ‘upper echelon’ EDC torch/light, and coming from Maglites - just wow. Feel like I stepped into a whole new realm…that could become a bit of collector hobby 😅

    With the discounts I picked this up at the Fenix store for $48 after shipping. Was comparing to the Olight Baton 3, but since that starts at $65, the Fenix just makes more sense. I'd rather have the universal compatibility of USB-C vs a proprietary charger anyway.

    How does it compare to the Sofirn sc21 pro? I like the deep carry and higher cri of the sofirn

      Deep carry for flashlights is slightly hazardous. I recommend turning off everytime with lockout.

    When I lightly rub the side button with my thumb, I can feel some play.
    It wobbles a little.
    Is it normal?

    I have v1 of this light, I was hoping that they had updated the interface for v2, but guess not. Hold to switch on and then a slightly longer hold to get into strobe is a horrendous choice, so many times with the v1 I've gotten into strobe by accident because I've held the button a millisecond too long. Other than the interface, it's a nice light (interface is a deal breaker for me though).

      Glad I'm not the only one here that had that issue.

      The v1 is better. Long run too

      Yes. And the lack of magnetic charging and size increase is a problem for me, looking for the smallest rechargeable 16340 light.

      If you need a floodier light, get e18r V2. If you want more throw, get baton 3.

    Can you run this on a powerbank

    • @LiquidRetro
      @LiquidRetro  6 месяцев назад +1

      I woukd guess yes. Most usb rechargeable flashlights can at lower powers. I haven't tried it here though

    I'm hating on this light because it went up in size due to a change in charging to type C. It is longer thicker and heavier. It is disappointing to say the least.
