Am I the only one who thinks Fall of Cybertron would’ve been the perfect opportunity to turn Megatron into Galvatron? Or at least have a skin you can unlock for free?
I'm not sure it would have worked, especially with the games meant to be telling the early days of the war.
@@Talon_Productions I suppose that’s true but again the Aligned Continuity wasn’t exactly cohesive there’s so many retcons it’s astonishing how it even has that name “Aligned” Continuity and hey if G1 Optimus can get a skin I really think Galvatron should’ve gotten one but it is what it is
@@GalvatronStudios A skin yes. But making Galvatron canon to the story after being crushed by metroplex would make no sense.
@@snedbag1727 but it would be a nice change of pace instead of repeating the same story over and over where Megatron always has to land on Earth before becoming Galvatron that’s why I liked the change of Galvatron being created by humans in Bayverse it was a breath of fresh air
In this continuity Galvatron was a totally different character and has nothing to do with Megatron at all.
Both designs for megaton are amazing but damn I never noticed this
I like the WFC design a lot but I'm not a big fan of the FOC design. I'd like it a lot more if it wasn't so puffy looking.

You want to know a bigger error? The demo for the game took place during the level where you use Vortex to infiltrate an Autobot transport. It also allowed you to collect the collectible audio logs…. One of which inadvertently revealed that Megatron was killed sometime before that point!
How is that an error?
@@Cyberbreaker2004 demo came out before the game did, hence part of the story was spoiled
Yeah I remember coming across that in the demo. It's an unfortunate oversight though, I'm not sure that's technically an error.
Maybe it was a way to get people even more interested, like trailers spoiling the biggest parts of the movie. If enough people noticed it and were interested in seeing how he died, more people were likely to buy the full game.
In all reality, that probably makes a lot of sense, given he’s usually brawling with the likes of Optimus, it’s not impossible to say that he’s been in critical multiple times before…It’d certainly explain his mismatched appearance, each upgrade and whatnot.
Metroplex smacked him sp hard, it changed his model.
Probably because its a pre rendered cutscene vs in game engine so the devs more than likely didnt have time to desing and render the WFC desing

Agreed. I prefer the cannon being attached to the arm rather than the cannon actually being the arm.

I thought the error was that his cannon was on his left arm.
The change might well have been because if metroplex crushing him, Rumble did mention that they used as many of the original parts as possible. It might have also just been the mangled remains which provided inspiration to Megatron’s new design.
That is the worst fan theory I’ve ever heard. HE LITERALLY CHANGED COLOR AND SHAPE, ALONG WITH NEW GLOWY BITS

I was so confused when I saw that but I just shrugged it off and ignored it
I can say more. In ROTDS there is no WFC Megatron but only FOC Megatron whereas the plot of ROTDS is between WFC and FOC.
I genuinely never noticed this. Because every time i replay this game I'm always having fun and enjoying it. FoC is such a great game

If they made him slightly slimmer and got rid of his hunchback, this might be my favorite megatron design ever

I think what they are doing is showing us what he would be like once he is brought back to life. They are giving us all an Easter egg.
It is possible, I just feel like that is a weird way to do it!
Another weird error is that in that cutscene, Megatron's fusion cannon is his left arm instead of his right.
This has bugged me since I was like 12 when the game came out
Like most games and films, budget is your biggest concern and you essentially have to find ways to keep to the budget even if they don't make sense. Transformers has done it, star trek and star wars have done it, many other film industries and game industries have done it.
First time I've played this game i noticed. I was like " i don't remember seeing any purple light on his arm when his hand was sticking out after the plumbing Metroplex gave him
I was so sure that her was gonna talk about how megatrons model is flipped. His cannon and red shoulder is on the wrong side.

The War for Cybertron design is better! I Never noticed this, because this is the only Transformers game I haven't played.
Oh the WFC design is waaaaay better. I genuinely dislike, bordering on hate, how puffy he is in FOC. And man you gotta check it out sometime.

Another error is megatron’s fusion cannon is on the wrong arm when showing his WFC form when it was shown earlier in the chapter when megatron was on the hologram before you can target the enemies with the artillery strike and he goes “what was that sound” it was on the correct side

Probably just had a separate arm asset from the mission where you piece him back together as Soundwave and decided to use it

I do think that I prefer War on the whole, but this error doesn't really effect the overall quality of the game.

I think the normal shooter gameplay of War is better than Fall, but fall has more gameplay variations and that final duel between Optimus and Megatron tips Fall into the better side for me.
I would assume that it's like form the damage or something, that not only hints at Megatron's Revival, but his new look turning the damage into an upgrade. That's my guess.
Yeah,also in the dark spark,when you did mission on cybertron,megatron had his new body,but the events in the dark spark that are on cybertron are before fall of cybertron events

The developers probably intended for him to have the fall of cybertron just there kinda what they did with prime but thought instead crushing him would happen but development went on instead of having the new model out of the gate they used the war for cybertron model instead then so on.
Tbh they cooked so hard with the WFC designs for Prime and Megatron, but the FoC ones don’t look that good to me tbh

Continuity-wise it doesn't make sense, having the arm from the body that he gets later appear in a scene where it shouldn't even exist yet. I get how that could be fun but it doesn't really work for me.

Earlier in the scene, before he gets pancaked, he's in the WfC design, but his canon is on his left arm. Idk why, unless I missed something from War for Cybertron.

Not an answer to why the error. However, one theory could be that they had other plans or could be some miscommunication between those who rendered said scene. Maybe they didn't receive the correct model for it? Either way, it's a detail I believe many missed and don't change the amount of awesomeness of the game!
I think earlier in chapter 2 you see a giant hologram of megatron talking to foot soldiers and I think he might also be In his foc design as well but I’m not to sure it’s been a while

I let that slide since what the people did for rise of the dark spark. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE FOR THEIR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT MEGATRON WAS SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE LIKE SERIOUSLY HOW DID THAT OTHER COMPANY NOT DO THEIR RESEARCH AHHHHHHHH
Autobots should have recycle the Megatron body into something otherwise the Megatron would not get revive or killing all the deceptions right after Megatron including sound wave and finally we might get to see unicorn or predecons battles
They might have had the new already made as an independent assest for the rebuild scene so they just used that for the quick shot here rsther thsn having to do weird stuff with the other model

No, that's definitely Megatron's arm design from his FOC body. Plus Megatron was the only one that got crushed.
Nah I wouldn’t know..I had the game when I was 10, couldn’t figure it how so I got rid of it…7 years later I can’t even find the game at any 2nd hand game stores but eBay has them for like $90…
Reason why: Megatron in WFC corrupts the core and finally pushes into the Autobots main city of iacon where he has to destroy the ark and after metroplex crushes megatron and kills him soundwave rebuilds megatron with a new body
I’m confused did you listen to what he said or read the caption. Because he’s talking about when he gets crushed he has the different body already even though soundwave hadn’t rebuilt him yet
