- Today we'll make a one gallon of Cherry Wine. You need a 2 gallon fermenter, 4 pounds of cherries, 3 cups of sugar, and 1 package of Red Star Premiere Rouge. It will start to ferment in a day or so, and ferment for 7-10 days. Rack to a 1 gallon carboy. Then I will bottle it up once it clears.
