I'm no rally driver but I frequently drive in the snow and the best thing to do is lightly steer towards the road and give it just enough gas. Too much steering input and tire will plow, too much gas and tire overcomes what little traction you have to pull out.
@@Quixxer65 There's no snow where he spun. That's a mix of ice and slush, maybe. He probably lost the rear under braking and the absolute lack of grip and the ruts on the ground made it damn difficult, if not impossible, to recover it.
His initial brake application is very gentle. He thinks he has more grip, so he puts his foot further in. The rear wheel locks under braking and destabilizes the car. Touching the snow banks outside of the ruts causes the rest of the spin. He simply got greedy with braking grip!

Ice, snow, slush, and whatnot. He was the fastest thru, and all drivers experienced plenty of difficulties [1]. I see you play DR 2.0, but that thing ain't nothing like the real one. Grab a proper sim, such as Richard Burns Rally with NGP6, and do some runs with WRC+ cars on snow stages with any kind of tarmac tyre. Basically yes, it's slow, but that's "the limit."

Track drivers shouls also learn how to drive in extreme conditions and the audience won't have to watch only red flags when the weather is not perfect...
Hyper nice
Seems they dont have too much grip on that snowy road , eh ?
Monte Carlo studs at 2mm protruding max, by regulation.
Что за третья педаль?
Азат Сибгатуллин Это сцепление.
What does the third pedal?
um thats called a clutch mate
Adrian F it’s not
@@diegopena3663 What the hell you mean? Even these cars have a clutch for slow speed, launches, and of course, clutch kicks etc.
Why else would he put his foot on it thru tight hairpins and when he spins it? to stop it from stalling and keeping in the good rev range
@@diegopena3663 its literally just the clutch pedal lol
i always wonder, why cant they simply get a mobile phone instead of a book for pacenotes??
the problem with mobile phones are that their batteries can die on stage, its also easier to read a paper then a phone just look up reading on a book vs reading on phone you will see that your reaction time is faster without a phone and also cause rally was always done on papers anyways its just one of those "if it aint broken don't fix them" type of thing" yeea feel me
Mom: we leave in 30 mins
와 프로는 양발운전을 하는구나
I just wondering. "Where the clutch?"
