We are definitely NOT alone in the universe. Thats like an ant thinking he's the only life on planet Earth. The bigger question is, are alien civilizations simply too far away to ever encounter us? I think thats likely, aliens exist but are too far away to reach us, even with advanced space travel technologies they may have. Earth may never be visited by aliens.

I mean, if an alien civilization is advanced enough to casually travel to Earth from whatever insane distance they are originating from, they most likely will be using some sort of portal to do it, or bending space in some way, like bending a rug to bring two points closer.

When light itself takes hundreds, even THOUSANDS of years to reach us, from distant galaxies....THATS too far. Thats why I say, there are FOR SURE aliens out there that are simply too far away to make contact with. People need to stop thinking of distances measured in mere MILES. Out in space its a LOT different.
