Ripper car, I really like what they have done on the outside and inside! It has some really nice new features that no other utes has aswell.. Plus leather / heated seats , not to mention 7 years factory warranty, 3yrs capped price servicing, 4 yrs aus wide road side assist.
Surprised they didn’t go allow for an 8spd option from the P sport, that would actually be better suited to most buyers these days with the trend of more ‘suits in utes’ buying them for non-commercial uses...
Getting one soon - from what ive heard they aren't world beaters but are the solid all-rounder, do everything well without being too special, everything you need, nothing you don't. Cheaper than toyota and ford but just as good in my opinion. Been around for a long-time and are just good solid, reliable, cheap to service cars. Can't beat it.
Towing a 3.5 ton load with a 2 tonne vehicle in rwd on tarmac is very dangerous for the average person who doesn't have much experience in doing that. Plus with 3.5 tonnes on the back, your payload is drastically cut down to like under 400kg. 3.1 tonnes is more reasonable as the vehicle will be safer and your payload isn't affected too badly.
Very nice Mitsubishi advance technology, pretty model, very good driving performance, very good driving faster at offroad and highway, good for cross country and the rally champion
@@hhhydra2397From the back of the turbo it goes from 2.5" down to a 2" exhaust on a standard Triton. Opening it up to 2.5" all the way through makes a huge difference.

My 2013 has drum breaks on the back. I didn't realise the modern ute's do as well... From what I can tell, every single one of these new Ute's are under powered. why can't all the makers pull their fingers out and develop a small block diesel V6.
Actually have a look to see what big and small block means. Don't know why you're surprised about drum brakes either. Again, have a look at their use in a commercial sense.
A HUGE issue for me is the navigation system. Must have missed your coverage of this? What do they run? It needs to be good otherwise could be a deal breaker. Looking at a premium ute for my wife and we need navigation.
Factory Navigation is by and large absolutely dire, get thyself a device or use a tablet or phone, much much better and cheaper to update, and isn’t tethered to one vehicle.
My family car Toyota Prado come with navigation as standard however it is not quite functional, I have to update map from Toyota every year, good feature is you don't worry about mobile phone if miss out signal coverage when you drive in the bush, however I always take my Hema GPS with me for any beaten track doesn't matter car with navigation or not.
why cant someone just build a basic reliable 4x4 dualcab/wagon that can spend its entire life in the australian outback without all this over the top tech. how hard is it to combine old school reliability with modern looks and safety without going overboard on the tech. none of these modern cars are going to survive 40years on the road let alone survive 40yrs in the outback like landcruisers/patrols from the 80's that are still going strong today. someone build a reliable basic 4x4 ffs that wont go into limp mode as soon as it hits the dirt or all the other countless problems owners have with modern vehicles..
Yep, well I'm a hater. This thing looks disgusting. You cant just take a new Front end & put it on an old body because it always turns out like this ugly looking thing. In my opinion the People who love the shape have no taste. Plus it still has the dodgy old rattly motor from the days when Noah used it to put the Ark in the water. Even with an extra gear it still uses way too much fuel, but it is a little better than the last Triton model. It's Nice inside though. It's so ugly that I wouldn't have one if it was given to me, I would traded instantly
Kindly outline exactly what you are expecting for this vehicle my friend, and then forward it on to Mitsubishi so they will never betray you again with a vehicle you may or may not buy.
What no no no. This is the best ute you can buy at the moment. Does everything you want so well. Tows well, great off-road, comfortable on road, spacious cabin with tonnes of leg room, affordable and very reliable. Will last you much longer than the ranger, amarok, navara, Hilux etc. The Hilux has dpf problems, vw is terribly unreliable as is the ranger and the navara is good other than the suspension.
Not bad, Triton drivers will love it. Haters will always hate.
Wow. That was so profound. Did you get that from a song....tswift???

C’mon car advice, why the unprofessional audio?
Who cares? People come here for car advice not a theater quality surround sound experience. ....

Love to see it decked out with, wheel spacers, 2inch lift, 2inch body lift, big wide muddys, fender flares, and a roo bar....
What would be the benefit of increasing the tow rating, besides marketing for people who don’t understand tare, GVM and GCM ratings?

Great Video Review. Coming to the UK Market In the Autumn
Actually starting to like it!!
Recording the audio in the toilet?
Yeahh.,hahaha

I really love the new triton. 😘
I Love all three of you
Mitsubishi top selling in Asia
Put a heavy duty 4x4 sports exhaust on this thing and you'll feel a huge difference in power.
I agree, did in my Mn triton massive different
How will an exhaust add power. Please explain

Yes diesel is still puss v6 thanks
That would be awesome just like amarok
I’ve got my 97 triton v6 petrol… what a beast
I wouldn’t ever buy one. But honestly. I’m a fan of the new look!

Curious how this compares to the new Ssangyong musso
That framerate panning over the car hurt my eyes.
Nice review!
Of all the reviews all specs are stated but no one says its a 4 wheel disc brakes
considering one (we have a 2010 one at present) but it better be a manual not a slush-o-matic
Perfect pick up

The gls premium has Android auto and apple car play so you really don't need sat nav and maps from your phone will be more accurate.

Thank you for your details video
Looks awsome
You know it means business whe the bull bar comes standard.
They go harder than a hilux, and have more power
3kW...woohoo. 10Nm more than a manual Hilux, 20Nm less than auto.

Does it have a all around view camera just like the navara?
Literally said that in the review, were you not watching?
were you not watching mate?
I still think the best looking Triton is the k74 up to 2005 .....
Does the passenger seat back still vibrate and wobble on rough roads? Or has it been fixed?
Mine has never done that

Vs Ranger Wildtrak?
Beautiful
Square front square masculine look beats the Hilux and ranger
Needs a TDI v6. Interior could do with a little modernisation
i wanna see a bullbar onit
I still prefer my MN ;)
Yeah nice..
Interior still looks prehistoric. Pay the extra 15g buy a dmax
Love it.
The fuel economy has worsened because the new front end isnt as aerodynamic as the old model
The best!! 👍👍😎😎😎
Jarvis? 😆
Ok Mitsubishi...if you won't give us a proper sports car, then give us a "raptor" version of this Triton.
Google TRITON ABSOLUTE
