These guys are also one of my favorite bands. DT keeps being relevant over the years. Moreover, they were awarded the Swedish Grammis (the Swedish equivalent of the Grammy) in the category "Best Hard Rock/Metal". The atmospheric mood in the albums, these are the emotions that the guys transfer to music and lyrics, for them music is the most important thing they have in life, except, of course, their families. Their amazing and multifaceted mission remains the same - to explore the state of melancholy, which is adjacent to rage. I can only imagine how happy you were to see your idols and be happy for you with all my heart, besides, you are an amazing correspondent milady. Thank you so much for the video 🎸🤘🏻
This band is pure art in every aspect and this is what makes them so unique in my point of view. You can dive deep into thoughts about the music, the lyrics, the artworks. It's incredibly beautiful. (But I guess I already responded that before somewhere xD )
I like how he explained how songs change their meaning over time and you have to adapt to them. I have thought about that for years and I am glad to have a professional explain it in detail. That was awesome!

You did a great job keeping your cool haha and delivered a fantastic interview. That was fascinating. It's always great to hear a band speak so passionately about their music and still be driven to reach new heights after all these years. It was awesome to see how much they love their art and your delight in it too. Outstanding interview. And it's amazing what you can do with phone recording and audio enhancers now. Excellent sound quality. :)
It was an intense week indeed! I love passionate talks about music. =) And I am happy that it worked out so well. It was so noisy and the iphone really is a good recording device. Incredible.

Thank you! I was a bit worried though since I have prepared a lot of questions and together with Wacken they questions have been pre-selected. Normally I just go with the flow of the conversation and I am pretty happy the questions did work out in the end =) The Weather/Wacken Evolution question was a wish from the Wacken team naturally.
It's definitely one of a kind festival, though the weather always is unpredictable in August. When you also need to pay for flights and transfer, it is already an expensive vacation, that's true!
Also we would just have had a 15 minute time frame and they even invested more time to get the interview properly done. I don't take that for granted 🤘🏻
DT ist auch meine absolute Lieblingsband seit ich sie 2017(?) auf dem Summer Breeze gesehen habe... Mega Musik, tolle Lyrics und mega sympathische dudes einfach :D Sehr cooles Interview btw, beste Frage am Ende 😂
Und auch einfach pure Kunst! Alleine auch Niklas' Artworks sind der Hammer. Man merkt einfach die echte Passion, die in der Band steckt. Einfach wunderschön. 😃 Hatte schon Bedenken, dass das komisch ankommt 🤣
