On a Dulcitone note - I spoke to the granddaughter of Thomas Machel a while back and she had a photo of them stood outside their shop in Glasgow about 100 years ago. Nice to put some faces to the Dulcitone story. I'll have to dig it out.

Your love of synths and your excellent taste in music will eventually make this inevitable, won’t it? For a while there I was afraid we’d not meet again. But look who’s back! Mister Henson, welcome back. My hope of some day watching you do a remake of “Walk Across The Rooftops” with Solstice strings and your synth arsenal has been restored. ❤

I own a 1972 Mk1a with the Buzz Watson stamp on it. The action is very unresponsive but the sound is amazing. I’ve owned and played on Rhodes since 1976 and it’s easily the best sounding one. I prefer the raw sound of mine to what I am hearing here. The advantage of this newer model is the huge improvement in the action and all the great processing onboard. You can do so much more with the newer model.
