Inside SAMARRA, Iraq's Most DANGEROUS City! Not What We EXPECTED!

  • One of the hardest places to visit, SAMARRA! Multiple military checkpoints to leave the city of Iraq and then multiple checkpoints to enter the area of Saladin, all to see this unique invention, the Spiral Minaret. With no barriers or railings to precent you from falling off, the walk up is a tricky one, especially when the wind is HORRIFIC like it was for us today! On the way back we made friends with some members of the forces who really wanted a photo with us!

First of all, you are welcome in my country, Iraq. In fact, I noticed that you are the only one who answers all the comments, unlike many RUclipsrs. This is an excellent point for the turnout of your channel, and in the end, I thank you for showing the true face of my contrary to what the international and Arab media used to lie.❤

They used to be militias until 2016. Then a law was passed and they were converted into an actual military force named popular mobilization forces. They heroically and courageously help defeat ISIS. They actually helped liberate my Christian town in Northern Iraq from ISIS. Moreover, I truly enjoyed watching your video and I look forward to seeing more.

They are actually militant forces from civil population and they get paid by government and they take their orders from Iraqi Army, the reason for this situation is because the Army does not have enough soldeirs to secure the whole of Iraq and no accidents has been reported against them.... Can I just say I've been watching a few of your videos today and usually travel vloggers make me cringe because they're very clickbait-ey, trying to make their situations seem more dangerous or unique or making wherever it is they're visiting seem like some far off weird land; very orientalist.
It's so so so refreshing to watch your videos with how down to earth youse are, how much respect you have for the places you are and the people you're with, how you basically just show what you're up to and what a place is like without trying to sensationalise or whatever. Really really great to see very refreshing, thank you for that.

There are dark people who hate Iraq and the forces that confronted Isis and supported the security forces. They are brave. When you go to Najaf, you will see the biggest cemetery in the world. Ask about the cemetery of the martyrs of the popular mobilization, you will find thousands of young people and old people who sacrificed their lives. Even Iraq is returning to what it is now.

These soldiers are affiliated with the Iraqi Security Forces (Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi) affiliated to the Prime Ministry.
Not militias, correct your information, and do not oppress the security men

I agree youtubers should ask or check their info, but you don't have to be so Brash when trying to send a message.. And in no way they were Oppressing the Forces...Just be glad they are there and brining light to a good situation now.

@@jaleel42 Big deal. Iraq became a shithole, terror hub and extension of Iran after the Americans “liberated” it. The strong man kept it together and peaceful under his rule. Libya is another American “freedom” success story. Dictators kept order and peace. Its all chaos now
