I’m glad it was just your finger. I was cutting firewood and had a heart attack. A neighbor was driving by and saw me fall and when he got to me, my chainsaw was still running, about three inches from my shoulder. They got me to the hospital, put in four stints and a week and half later I finished cutting the wood.
When those lawnmowers landed side by side, right side up, I actually threw my arms up and exclaimed "Yes", as if to take credit for the awesomeness myself. 😂😂😂😂😂 Love me some Fab Rats!
Retired fireman and ex framer in my 20s. I’m a firm believer electrical tape has undiscovered magical healing properties. Just wrap it up and forget about it for a week or so and bam, just like that, it’s sorta all better. Little crazy glue added in doesn’t hurt either. I’ve never put stitches in my hands despite seeing tendons and other trauma. Of course I have some ugly scars but that only adds to your toughness 😂
One thing that I really enjoy seeing between Fab Rats and Matt's off-road recovery is how both of you are excelling and building shops and improving on your businesses!! So Cool!!
Injuries can be a bit tricky sometimes. While ''chicks dig scars" wives don't! My wife hated it when I'd get cut or burned and I never said anything about it. She would notice the bandage or blood later on. I'd tell her if there is no bone showing it will heal up. I'm made of scar tissue now and I miss her every day. Love the builds and repairs !
I love watching these older videos. They are just as entertaining as current stuff. My advantage is that as I age, now 65 years young, I don’t remember the old days. It’s awesome!!

With the number of stitches I've taken in various fingers, that had me clenching my fists against my chest in sympathetic pain! Hope you're ok. God bless!
I sliced my thumb and index finger open to the bone once when I was a teenager sharpening a chainsaw. Neosporin, gause, and black tape saved the day. Now I wear gloves while sharpening. That was close to 40 years ago. Great video you guys.
Paul, for future information if you should ever need to close a wound use "supoer glue" it was created as a battlefield dressing. Works great and I have used it my ownself.
yep I have used it as well and worked really well although it did burn . I didnt know it was created as a battlefield dressing, Thanks for sharing that cool little bit of info with everyone!.
It's better to leave it open and aerated, but then it's tricky to keep it clean and avoid further damage.. I tried to catch a 55 gallon oil drum that fell over and got one finger almost cut off against a door frame and the skin on the inside of my finger tore apart 5mm all the way to the bone half across the tip of the finger. After the bleeding slowed down I just kept it out in the open and it sure did gross people out and leave a nasty scar but it healed much faster than expected and I avoided stitches which would have been a nightmare on the fingertip..
The cement pads are looking nice. Finishes up the outside of the shop. Hope your finger heals up Paul. The smile on Jace’s face was priceless when his truck fired up. Great video🤙😎
