My first Visconti was the Savaltor Dali Mom got it for me. I followed it up with the Stary Night which I really do love. I do have a Homosapien Dark age -- Thank you for sharing your haul, Clare and Peter are great people.
Got a feeling this won't be your last Visconti :) They can be rather addictive I must say! haha That Toffee Brown has some good shading. I'm impressed. I love browns.
@@alexandrasartinsanity I don't know what happened, but my Montblanc 146's piston got super stiff... I didn't think that would be an issue so early as it was a brand new pen. I had to buy a tool to take the piston assembly out to grease the piston, and helix. I also greased the metal threads on the piston assembly. Works like a charm now. Might of been an ink I put in it? I tried a few different ones so I have no clue which one could have done that though.
Beautiful pen, inks, paper, waffles! At first, I thought the Toffee Brown was similar to Private Reserve Chocolat, but when it dried I could see it is a lighter colour. Love the Taccia ink. I'm at the end of my first Taccia ink sample (Jeans #6 Powder Blue). Not only do I not have a Visconti, I know next to nothing about their pens. The only Visconti pen I've heard about is the Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age. HJ talked about it so much in some of his videos. The only other thing I've heard is that people are often disappointed with the nibs. Would be great to hear more about the brand from Clare next month. Glad your new Visconti has a great nib. Two years ago, I was buying nib pens, although I already owned a couple of Scheaffer pens from the early 90s. Then I moved on to buying pens, and now I am buying , pens, and when available . What is a "mini stub"?
You so welcome Alexandra. The greatest thank you for us is for you to use and enjoy the gifts. ❤❤❤

Clare & Peter are fantastic people.
That green color is amazing! I love Visconti so much.
It is! I love it being swirled with a dark grey resin.

Probably not. I love the Montblanc standard inks & think they are so under rated!

Does the mirage post magnetically 🧲 like my mythos models do? That is a feature I really really like…
I think the Mythos are pretty much a newer version of the Mirage. I have a Mythos as well. They both post magnetically.
