He is definitely right about backtesting vs live testing.
Great interview. His young fresh mind isn’t jaded. He’s very optimistic and encouraging. He’s not bogged down with being overthinking and traditional points of views. Like he said, if you study and test a profitable strategy don’t over think it, take the challenge! If you’ve proven to be successful after a few months, no reason to delay! I love his attitude and preparation for the interview. That kid is going to do well in whatever he does.

This is really smart. As long as you figure out the trend bias on the higher timeframes, you can attack the lower timeframes, brilliant.
It's all about the higher time frames. Lower time frames are used for diagnostics of the larger trend, which can also be used for scalping.
@@tcavalomarkets are fracto Mirror or image within an image. The lower time frame is more manipulated but it plays hand in hand

10:30 this guy scales in pretty aggressively. Can you imagine how cold you have to be psychologically to do this. A lot of people will never do this because of fear and they want to hold on to profits. Well done young man you display great psychological skills.

2 times FTMO passer here. I blew my 1st account in profits after 3 days (made 3.5k then reached the daily loss 2.5k)
Trust me, coming from a poor enviroment, I couldn't get out of bed after that epic fail. I skipped 2 months to regen then went in for a new challenge. Rest is history. NEVER GIVE UP, LEARN, LEARN, MAKE YOUR SYSTEM, CORRECT THE MISTAKES, LOOK BACK ON YOUR TRADES. JOURNAL, LOG, WRITE UP YOUR EMOTIONS! DON'T TRADE A SYSTEM / STRAT WHERE YOU FEEL SICK EVERYDAY!

@@Pgggg to be honest, since i'm about to get my uni degree and go alone with a broker degree, my advice after trading props for over a year now is to don't waste money on props.
go with a trustable swiss or other account and gain on your own capital. Another thing is that try to get equity from locals and do like a signal service so you won't have problem with tax / etc.
my perspective on how you should grow changed a lot as i had more and more data in the past months. Props not worth it long term 100%
Those Gold scale ins helped him out tremendously. He was up 10% after 71 trades, those scale ins shot his profit curve way up. A great way to earn extra profits as long as you know what your doing. Gold respects technical analysis on HTF and LTF

thanks Pepijn man! this was great I refined my own strategy of Supply and Demand with yours and BOOM! had a great morning session where I made 1:13... well if I had got out then instead I made 1:3 which is still amazing as I have only been trading for 2 months now. He has great discipline to wait for retests before he takes his entries instead of trying to short tops which they (big banks) could rip higher to take out stops. I'd like to try the FTMO challenge next year. Wish me luck. 😁
Since I used buy and sell limts and just not watch it unfold after entry, my results got 10x better. My biggest weakness in trading is not my knowledge or experience, but my emotions. I just remove me out of the equation.

omg, my process is exactly like his process. i look at everything, i use an oscillator for divergences with fibonacci levels and that way i can be confident in the trade but bravo to this young man, his explanation and the way he trades is so clear and precise

I trade off of ICT concepts and can see his concepts in the guys trades. All his entries are based around breaks in market structure and fair value gaps. He’s smart for trading with HTF bias in mind and he is definitely crushing it. I hope to be on this podcast one day!

Crazy results man, my strategy and methodology is very similar to yours, with the exception that I’m not a fan of scaling in and I’m a bit more aggressive (I always risk 2% per trade). Been trading with FTMO for almost 2 months now, great company backed by great people!
