    My dad said he was at this show at the Palladium in NYC, Iron Maiden opened when Paul Dianno was in the band. I’m 26 and how I wish I lived thru this era

    Unleashed in the East is one of the best metal albums. I cannot believe the rock and roll of shame snubbed them. Judas Priest has influenced so many bands. Saw them many times in the Early 80s. Killer!!!!

      Well chock it up to an era thing, but I think musically the Hard/Heavy Rock of the 70's was WAY BETTER than the stuff from the 80's, it ain't just Priest, but those artists of the time, this ain't a slaggin' the whole "Glam Metal" shit, but most of the stuff from the 80's that was tryin' to be "Metal" lacked the heart and soul of the 70's stuff, now I'm sure there's someone on here who knows some bands from that era that had that 70's sound to their music, but I was just makin' a statement

    One of the worst Priest performances I've ever heard. Tipton always sucked live because he is a weakling who stays drunk all the time. But Halford usually didn't sound this bad live. They probably did more partying than usual since they were in NYC. Then turned in this terrible performance.

    • @shellwalsh3317
      @shellwalsh3317 2 года назад +2

      Agreed. Halford sings the words too fast mashing them together. Tipton always looked bored to me on stage live probably from booze where KK was much better & more energetic. I was a huge Priest fan by mid 80's. Saw them in 84' & 86' and even met Halford after the show. Early era Priest in my opinion the BEST. (74'-91') Still own all my vintage vinyls & JP goodies. They would occasionally turn in a great album like British Steel, Screaming For Vengeance, Painkiller.
