A lady at Boot Barn shared a tip with me that I'll pass on: She used a boot brush, poured some conditioner on the bristles, and applied the conditioner that way, then wiped the boots off with a rag.

I always cowboy boots and yeah I live in North Dakota
Some people asked do I have other footwear besides cowboy boots. My response to them that it's a year round foot wear for me. A coworker told me I looked weird wearing cowboy boots and I told him that cowboy boots may look weird to him, but I don't play that sneaker/baggie jeans clone. I'm doing me and I enjoy it.

I wore cowboy boots too school from 15-18. Everyone made fun of me, but I never cared. My father introduced me to them when I was 3yrs old and ever since then I was hooked. What people forget is cowboy boots are really big with celebs like Stallone, Arnold, axl rose, slash, all of the Mötley Crüe members

Ironically I grew up with horses but never really wore cowboy boots until I became an adult. Now I have to fight the urge to buy a new pair of boots whenever I see something nice.

I actually have a sprained R wrist that I can blame on my boots. I was taking out the trash on a drizzly day and was wearing leather soled boots, and I slipped on a slate walkway. I always shied away from the vibram or synthetic slip-proof soled boots, but now I’m thinking about getting a pair. Not just so I don’t break any bones...I’d like a pair that are not only slip proof but also waterproof for bad weather. The only ones I know of are the few made by Justin, but they always are either plank square toed or just too round.
Can you make a extended test of that boot my son would love that and he has the same work boots

I started wearing cowboys because I saw someone wearing them at work, I thought they were cool as FUCK... it's been two years I have been wearing them every since!! thank God for him, I would always wear sneakers.. never again
Hi Jeremiah, have you looked into topy sole protectors? You talk about wearing leather sole vs rubber sole, but you can have a thin (like 3mm) layer of rubber applied to the leather sole. This not only gives you grip but it protects and prolongs the life of the leather sole. Every pair of leather soles boots I’ve bought I take to my boot repair shop and pay $30 to have that put on.

So much hate, vitriol, and spite directed towards the cowboy boot wearing brotherhood/sisterhood. I think it's due to said haters secretly WANTING to wair boots, but they're angry that they themselves lack the confidence we have to rock'em! Nothin' but jealousy.... at least that's what I tell myself haha! There will always be those who hide their envy within an insult.
That's what I think too. People are curious then look for excuses not to but they have no idea what they're missing!

I think you're right. That's how I got into it too. My brother got them and I followed right along after I saw how they looked. I notice a lot of people are interested and have questions when I talk to them about cowboy boots. A lot of people are looking for a different style. Ive been boots since I was in High school First cowboy boots then harness boots then cowboy boots, Tall boots now, I love the taller shafts. I just bought a pair of Han Solo boots. Yup I like most kinds of boots. Thinking aboot what some tweets said, I think if you wear boots you are an individual not one of the many. At first you feel funny wearing them but as time goes on you are comfy in them. I have found that many guys want to wear boots but haven't made the jump yet. A new trend at least at the big outdoor or big box hardware stores is Millennial"s are starting to wear them out instead of under the jeans. I asked one he said I just forgot to pull the jeans out, Hmm Seems guys are starting to show off the boots more now. J what do you think?

Almost every time someone tries to talk shit about wearing boots, he’s almost ALWAYS some wannabe Cali boy wearing flip flops, cargo shorts, and man bun. That’s the most ridiculous you could possibly look.

Cowboy boots are starting to trend in the fashion world to some extent so once those same people start wearing them because the guys from BTS start wearing them, you can turn it around on them
Jeremiah Craig yea, it’s happened a few times in the last year lol. I think my timing was off too. I took a bit of a hiatus from cowboy boots and was wearing my old combat boots from when I was in the army. I’ve been out for a couple years now because of Crohn’s disease and decided it’s time to put that part of my life in the past. So it was early last year I went back to the old faithful cowboy boots.
Nice. That's the best reason to wear cowboy boots. The first steps into something new for your future are always exciting. And you got roots in it so even better.
Jeremiah Craig yup. Even though they were new boots, it was like returning to an old friend. I still have my last pair of blackhawks and I use them for hiking and camping mostly. And I volunteer with my old high school JROTC. During the spring break they do a leadership camp I help with too and I put on my old uniform and go be a drill sergeant and make an impact on some young lives. Although I’m still not much older than they are lmao.
I'm from west Texas, so it's really part if the culture, but I'd be lying if I said red dead didn't get me into classic styles boots, because I had been more of a work boot kind guy previously

My favorite response was the Go Fuck Yourselves one lmao 😂 I wear cowboy boots 99.9 % of the time and people hardly ever say anything about it, once in awhile I get a nice boots compliment but that’s about all, a lot of people look down and my feet and say nothing which doesn’t bother me sometimes their facial expressions say what they are thinking but to be honest I don’t give a rats ass what anybody else thinks about me cause most time their opinions are irrelevant to me.
