- My review of these two electric bikes.
***the speedometer on the Ghostcat is malfunctioning. The company is aware of the issue and will be sending out new LCD screens to everyone soon.
*** I also mentioned that the kickstand on the Ghostcat was too short. However I was unaware at the time of making this video that it could be extended so it's fine once extended.

P-51 is way over priced .. Ghostcat looks better has stronger motor , stronger controller , better rear suspension , same rear suspesion thats on a Surron. Ghostcat also has a Stronger battery .

Idk if you adjusted it, but the kick stand does come out a lil bit more. You lessen the screw and it slides out. It still leans a bit, but it’s a lot better.

You should voice over the beginning of this Video and tell everyone that you did not unlock the speed on it! Alot of people could be making decisions based on this review!

It’s wild they want that much for the p51 though imo
some young guy who lives in California decided to build one for himself, people showed a lot of interest in them so he started making them in California, so that's why they cost more. If he sourced it out of China like all the other bikes, he could probably easily sell them for around $2k.
Ya that’s usually how those things go some people are all about buying local or American made, so they end up paying a premium. Chinas been cranking out e-bikes for a long time though, when it comes to things like that, I’d rather buy from them. It’s not a bad looking bike, but it looks like it doesn’t come close to ghostcat. I just got a ghostcat a couple weeks ago, and I love that lil bike. It’s extremely fast and nimble. I’m sure the other ones a solid ride, but if I’m paying that much I’d want more than 750 watts.
@@mattmatter5643, Yeah, I really like the idea of supporting USA made, but the premium makes it tough, I really like the looks of the p51, people mod these bikes a lot, maybe he could start selling a frame kit, at a cheaper price, and let people mod the motors and batteries themselves. One of Surons competitors is doing that, you can buy the bike or any of the parts alcarte.
Which company? I’ve been looking at getting a talaria. I was going to grab a xxx, but then I seen the ghostcat, the pedals and cheaper price sold me on it. I was kinda afraid I’d get stopped by the cops if I was riding around on something with no pedals. I know you can get the pedal kits now. I’m probably gonna sell one of my other bikes and get something that’s 72 volt. I’m hoping the xxx goes on sale for under 3k.

The P51 is a damn good looking bike and I usually prefer bikes that dont have the battery on the top tube. Unfortunately looks is the only contest its winning today
Thank you for the review! Do you know of any mods (if even possible) to remove or changing the pedals, similar to the "No Pedals" version of the Motor Goat V3?
Not sure, I'm getting shorter 150mm cranks but still mostly going to use the throttle anyway.
hey u ever try the bigniu bgx I just got one great for cruising and has decent speed..but ghostcat and 🐐 bikes are great torque bikes..

Won’t be as good as my talaria but at least this is something new.
I have 2 SurRon's but at least the Ghostcat and P-51 look more like bicycles than a motorcycle so less likely having to deal with the police.

Is that P-51 a generation 2 or generation 3 and did they change anything with the Gen 3? Because I really like the way it looks
Not sure, I bought it about 6 months ago.
Ask for the code on p51 gets a lot more torque and better throttle response gets about 50% better acceleration
is it possible to put bigger tires on this ebike ranging from 4.5-5 in width?
The Ghost bike looks much better in style IMO the P51 looks more like the Super73
Do you unlock the speed and power of the ghostcat? or are you using factory setup?
They'll email you the info on how to navigate through the settings to unlock it.
@@benriding8678 yeah I know, Im asking because the display was showing like 28 mph top speed in your case. Or this happened because the display was damaged?
The displays in this batch are malfunctioning and the company will be sending new LCD screens out shortly. I did note that in the drop down box as well and about the kickstand.
which is more comfortable/ better offroad?
