Been wanting to do this for years but it's always busy with traffic and motorcycle racing and didn't want to get in anyone's way. So I went so late in the evening and it was about empty as I've ever seen. Such a blast and I did two runs down and back up with enough battery to do it two more times!

This was only my second time down the back side of this road and I felt very comfortable after avoiding it for years. Mainly because it's much steeper than the front side and I didn't have a board with a large enough battery to make it back up and all the way back to the starting point. But now I do!

      @@puffedlipo1464 email P-51 and ask for the code. They'll make you sign a waiver so it will void your warranty if any damage occurs which I was told by them that it hasn't happened.

    I think at this point P-51 have done 100 interviews where they said the bike is literally supposed to be a class 2 Surron. If you expect a faster P-51. it does exist. It's called a Surron.

      @@andrewsramek118 not sure what to compare them to other than the Hyper trucks but they're smooth turn and carve great all without speed wobbles provided the truck's are tighten approximately.

    I have to ask, was that on purpose? Because I’m getting one built soon and I never got the speed wobbles on my Hoyt dadbod with SKP’s 175kv’s and solo esc so seeing that video has me a bit sketched

      I got ran over and had more damage than I expected to my board and than recked because of it, broke my hip and elbow, surgery on both, Hoyt closed shop so I couldn’t get a new deck or enclosure, battery wouldn’t fit in SKP enclosure, so need to sell Hoyt dadbod and in the process of having one built by SKP. Forgot what size battery but going to have the 205kv motors, excited

    Is your bike a TNT 135? If yes, do you take that on the highway?

      yes with a 155cc Big Bore kit. Cruising speed without having to worry about damaging the motor is 53-55mph.Even though it will max out at 60mph I wouldn't want to ride it a red line for a long period of time and risk blowing up the motor. So to answer your question it just depends on the hwy speed limit.

      @@peedee4065 I bought it because it had the 5th gear before the Groms added the 5th gear. The 4 gears that the Groms used to have blew but they did add the 5th gear I believe in 2020. I also like the Benelli because it's slightly bigger. You can find one of my video's riding minimoto's on backroads. That's my old Grom that I sold to my friend and you can see the difference in size in the thumbnail.

    I rode boards all my life. But this vicarious adrenaline rush worked!!! LOL! Hey- Kudos to the filming of this, not easy to do!! But wow what a beautifully stable machine! I used to ride a land-board, about the same size, with a 5 meter windsurfing sail, and it could do 40 very smoothly. But the FOD Factor is everything! Really enjoyable ride to watch! What a place! Rig good, stay safe.

      yea, it's not cheap but the way I justify it is compared to 2 or 3 annual snowboard trips to CO it's one and done. Not exactly the same but carving is very similar and I can do it every day right out of my garage without travel and freezing my ass off. Thanks for watching.

    Hey bro, I have the black oem racer kit for the 2022 XSR900, brand new in oem yamaha box, new tank and panels for a black 2022 xsr900. I was gonna buy a 2023 blue xsr since black was discontinued and make it just like the black with racer kit. I ended up buying a 2024 Aprilia RSV4 and Yamaha MT-09SP. I live 20 miles from the Tail of the Dragon. Let me know if you are interested, I need to sell since I never bought an XSR900. The racer kit is no longer available.

    can you do an up hill video on that same road , ive been trying to find a good hill climb video but literally no one has one , and that road youre on would be a perfect test since all the roads in my area are like this. i just wanna know how fast or slow it goes up hills that steep before i commit to buying one lol

      @@AmSquidBtw LOL, my last response was wrong. I got the bikes & video's mixed up. That road I'm on has some elevation but not a lot. However the bike did shut off on me twice. To be fair, I was hard on the bike. Full throttle for 10 miles straight including the elevation. The bike did what it was supposed to do, shut off before over heating and burning the electronics. Just had to wait awhile for it to cool down and turned on again.

      just depends on rider weight, speed, elevation, wind, etc.. I'm 200lbs and get easy 30 miles at mostly full throttle.
