As a combat veteran it's crazy to believe people wore metal armor. The only remaining old forests are in South America, China and Siberia. The real reason for this great sin was the genocide of the human species that did not fit the desired mold. Since few have seen an actual old growth forest, it's difficult to comprehend how thick they were and the gigantic size of the trees. The Lord of the Rings movies give an idea ... Great cities, with buildings of gold, remain within those old forests, currently inaccessible ... It's possible that some survivors remain as well ...
