Eternals 2 will probably never happen, unfortunately. I really liked the first movie. But it flopped and people hated it to a toxic level, and considering that they dropped Kang (who compared to the eternals is like the most beloved character ever) we'll probably never see the Eternals again.
@@Sandwichreviewsforthesoul Honestly It wouldn't even make sense. They are part of something more cosmic. There Is no reason for them to be involved in a multiversal war.
People hated it on a very normal level, because it was an abysmal imbecility that should have never seen the light of day. If you liked it, that’s fine, nobody can take that away from you, but just because one likes McDonald’s, it doesn’t mean it’s good.
@@Sandwichreviewsforthesoul Based on what Kevin Feige said, i think a lot of characters won't appear in D**msday and secret wars. They'll probably avoid putting the characters the audience dislikes the most (She hulk, Ironheart, Cassie, maybe even Shuri) or characters that were gonna be heavily connected to Kang but now are completely useless (Shang Chi, Moon Knight). Instead of trying to go on with the new, They're bringing the old back. I can already see Steve and Natasha coming back via some multiversal excuse. It's a shame that they will no longer try to evolve the MCU.
The fact that we went from having an original and interesting character to having he who will probably only be evil Tony Stark as the big bad Will never stop being frustrating. And the worst part Is that people are genuinely excited for It.
They did say that RDJ’s Doom was going to be Victor Von Doom, but what was leaked so far is kinda not promising (Doom taking inspiration from Iron Man’s armors)
I honestly don’t get all the hate for the multiverse saga. There’s literally only been 5 projects (6 now including Agatha) that include the multiverse. No way home, loki, and Deadpool and Wolverine are all good. Sure they are full of cameos but it doesn’t necessarily make it bad. Multiverse of madness and quantamania are the ones that people don’t like. I think it’s more of people being tired of the multiverse being used so much in media.
half the time it doesn't even focus on the multiverse, it instead made a bunch of plot ideas that don't really connect and we were left with not knowing how it all ties together
I think the biggest reason why the Multiverse Saga is bad and criticized as a whole is because those few little projects that do play with the multiverse all play it by completely different rules. This means that, even if some projects like Loki and Deadpool 3 are well-received and good media on their own, if they don't mesh together in a way that makes sense to the audience, then that means the *saga* is fundamentally flawed. A successful and well-constructed saga is meant to present its chapters in a way that's both coherent and cohesive, and if the namesake of the saga--the Multiverse--is so poorly handled across the chapters which tackle it due to the lack of communication and planning at Marvel, then it simply doesn't work as a connected saga, regardless of how good each individual project is. TL;DR: Marvel made the choice to call this saga "the Multiverse Saga", yet, so far, they have fumbled every aspect of the Multiverse as an inter-connected, over-arching narrative. The saga failed in what it set out to do, and for that, I think the criticism is warranted.
Marvel movies are made as if jocks are trying to appeal to nerdy comic book readers , idk if that makes sense but comics connect with their intended fan base better , marvel movies are just about action and fan service which isn’t what traditional comic readers or superhero fans are looking for , the movies are basically for people who want to pretend they like comics but would never actually read them
This is why I actually really respected The Penguin not having batman appear in it. Let characters and stories perform on their own without needing to try to make fans scream “THAT’S THE GUY FROM THE OTHER THING I KNOW”
Funny fact about Invincible for those who dont know, that show, Spawn the animated series, “The Maxx” miniseries, The “Firebreather” movie from Cartoon Network, & Nickelodeon’s “Catscratch” are all TV adaptations of comic books from a shared universe called “Image Comics” its basically “what if dc & marvel were R rated 24/7”

@@MartinMarsano Origins are overdone now. I think audiences are smart enough to be willing to give a movie without one a shot. Everyone in existence knows what was Kal-El's backstory by this rate. Everyone are also aware of the fact that he lives in the same world as Batman and other heroes, it's not a hard pill to swallow at all if you are causal movie go-er. If anything I think it's refreshing to see a new franchise that already have heroes instead making another failed MCU clone.
I do not understand how anyone could take Wanda pulling powers out of nowhere and killing the Illuminati seriously. The only threat of that scene was "what random ability will she show once and never again?"
Thunderbolts should’ve been the team up of phase 4. It would’ve been a team up movie of past characters while new characters could have more time for a true team while they fixed their multiverse with their Kang problem
The Multiverse Saga in the MCU is epic and the cameos make it all the more special. To quote Chris Stuckmann “I’m a fan service me”. There is no right or wrong way to do the multiverse

Not giving enough time to stream line a big over all story arch 5. Not using side characters/ cameos/ characters to their potential to move the story along/ represent the audience/ answer questions for the audience 6. I’m actually excited for RDJ dr doom to be honest , I think he’s gonna kill it as doom . I do agree with you with the multiverse problem but to me if the movie balances nostalgia with good storytelling then I’ll like it either way . that’s what made stuff like the cobra Kai show successful .,
Marvel is in a bit of a rough spot with their new team. On one hand, it’s sad that they’re neglecting their newer characters so hard even when we’re so close to the end of the saga. But on the other hand we haven’t been given much of a reason to care for characters like Shang-Chi, She-Hulk, Yelena Belova, or Agatha Harkness. Part of that is probably bigoted fans who are mad that women and POC are being given the spotlight, but that’s also because marvel takes their general apathy for these characters as proof that we don’t want to see them anymore. Moon knight is probably never getting a season 2, that Vision show is probably dead in the water, Armor Wars hasn’t been brought up in a year, and god only knows if that Wonderman show ever got further than a pitch
Little side note, ya the inhumans tv show was horrendous, worse thing I've ever seen, but Anson Williams was awesome as black bolt, Kenn Leung was awake as well being Karnak. If they both were brought back as the characters in a better written/produced show or movie they would nail the characters again. And the woman who played Crystal, she wasn't bad, I'm on the fence on maybe wanting to see her try again. The rest of the actors while they seem to be good actors to various degrees were mismatched. But I would love up see both Williams and Leung back as their respective characters again (obviously besides black bolt bring in Dr strange).
The best thing they could do is a phase of standalone stories about characters. Nothing about a big overarching plot, just heroes on their own journeys.
Normalise banking on stories and not storytelling devices.
