Is it worth the $300 they are asking? I think it is. Let's talk about it and find out why I think it's worth it. You can hold a lot of tools in most any tool box. Justin, some points you may like and use that you omitted.
    1) The bottom drawer has 2 ball bearing slides. All the drawer slides are rated at 100lbs. each, so that drawer is pretty tough.
    2) The interior, when you remove the drawers is fully painted.
    3) The wheels and the side handle are mounted on press screw rivets, so they are quite strong. You can easily remove the handle, or move it to either side.
    4) The drawers came with skid mats.
    5) The wood top is anchored, AND the top is reinforced.
    Did I miss anything?

I bought the 56” US General top and bottom a couple years back after living with the 44” Gen1 US General box since 2015.
The shallow front-to-back depth of the Gen-1 was a major limiting factor, like that yukon. As he mentioned- maybe as a second- overflow- box.

got my blue about 2wks ago to replace my 20yrold craftsman 26" box setup. very happy with it and gives me room to spread out, put replacement parts on. My bay is at a high traffic area in shop so this gives more room to work over a 24" box. Also, being 5'8" the lower height is perfect for me 😉

Alot of people are complaining about hf doing away with this. The one they are offering now is perfect for me, or more correctly my workplace given that all it's going to be used for is as a workstation. All we have is a little 14 by 14 in cart, with no room to work, so I am definitely going to try to convince my boss to buy us this "tool chest" / workstation. Fun fact, they still offer this version.

I purchased the Husky about 18 months ago and a Yucon a few weeks ago. My Yucon is the model with lower cabnet doors with two shelves inside. The older Husky is a little better than the newer stile. I have many tool stacks in my shop (four roller cabinet/chest sets by Craftsman & Waterloo industries) that are about 45 years old and still work well. I didn't realy nead another box in the shop but purchased both of these boxes to use as counter/cabinets for my skoolie conversion as they take up less space and offer great storage and counter space for the kitchen area. The casters will be omited and they will mount on frame work and anchor to the side walls. I have used michanics tool chests for this befor and had to build my own countrer tops, but this is a perfect answer to the install with locking drawers and all . I like your presentation & will probably go back to pick up the 9 drawer for Yucon for additional storage. Thank you.

I think I will buy the bulk storage version of this with the 2 doors instead of the extra 8 drawers.

Too bad they stopped offering this within the last two weeks and replaced it with a shameful box that is the same size but they removed the bottom 8 drawers in lieu of some cabinets that dramatically reduce usable storage space, not to mention you’ll now have to stoop down to be able to reach anything towards the back. Sorry mistake.

The Husky model is taller, but other detailed differences with the Yukon like the wood being fastened to the top of the box and all surfaces painted inside and outside show that the Yukon is better built. Most likely I’ll need to order first three choices and HF will have their options in stock. Lord willing I’ll have one by around Summertime. The Kobalt may be the only other one in the $300-$400, I’m only going by my preference first and then the price. If I save up more I can get a Snap-on box next summer.🙄
