I have the blue Yukon and have had it for 2 years. No issues. This is perfect for the home and most of us that do not have an unlimited budget. I bought the smaller 5 drawer us general cart to go along my Yukon. The blue color matches. I have my Yukon loaded and it rolls around very easily. The drawers open and close very easy. I highly recommend this Yukon tool cart.😃👍🏻

I bought mine in white, personally I don’t care about the lack of soft close drawer slides because I’m that paranoid person that always forces my drawers shut anyways. Overall it matches my more expensive Husky lift up table with two drawers beautifully, it’s almost the same white (my lighting is horrendous so they wouldn’t match perfectly anyways) and it works great and for a cheaper price than the Husky ones for sure! I love the thinner drawers and will use the deep, larger drawers to hide bulky tools in. I love woodworking, but don’t have the time to build custom cabinets yet for my set up garage/shop and I’m thrilled it’s not any deeper or wider than it is because I barely have room already so I’m happy with the dimensions, happy that I only had to install the wheels and handle bar and my Mother and I were able to scoot this sucker out of the back of her vehicle without damaging it or ourselves! The Husky lift up table was much harder to get out of the suv so win win for me! And I saw some comment on using this as a kitchen island, I personally would remove the top and build one custom that over extends the sides up to 1”. I probably will add hardwood frame around both mg Husky and Yukon tops to keep them from wearing or chipping and I have no idea if the top is strong enough for a Vice or not. Might be better to build a thicker, hardwood top for heavy duty use

I use one of these in my office and it's been awesome. I have another one that I use for firearms related maintenance... Also perfect.
I use the US general tool carts for mechanics tools.
I have one of the Ryobi link mobile tool boxes with a couple of extra boxes for all my Ryobi stuff.
I also keep three different 5 gallon buckets that have the tool buddy storage on them.
    One for general DIY maintenance.
    One for electrical.
    One for plumbing.
So far it's been a good system for me.

Do your drawers all close ALL THE WAY easily so that they can be locked? i got one today, got it home and unboxed it. Checked the drawers before i started assembly and found that other than the top drawer the other drawers dont close easy like i feel they should. they close till like the last bit then i have to give them a pretty decent push to get them in all the way so that it can be locked. They i have to pull on them pretty decently to get them open. Pretty sure they arent suppose to be like that. I feel they the tracks arent set right or something cause it seems the right side of the drawers get to the end of the track before the left side causing this issue. Its going back for an exchange tomorrow

Soft close would be a good feature were it not for the fact that you pay for that feature by having to yank open the drawers every time to cock the close mechanism. Extremely annoying. Anyone know how to disable that feature?

Yukon and Huskey probably roll down assembly lines in the same place - I thought earlier that the Yukon was just a better priced unit until I found that Husky is s full 24” in this model and Yukon only 18”.
Kinda disappointing but you get what you pay for….

Sears tool chests had a crucial design made in the drawers that when you closed them, you can hear them click in the locked position. They called it griplatch. In my mind, it is the best design ever made on a tool chest. But Sears no longer makes them with this feature and I just can't understand why no other tool chest manufacturer has created their own version of the griplatch. What they have now are drawers that close by friction or a soft spring loaded mechanism. I hate both of them. It's like buying a car with drum brakes. Disc brakes being the griplach and if I can't find a tool chest with a griplatch system, I'm not buying it.

I’d skip any of the Harbor freight or HomeDepot boxes and go to a Menards and buy a Masterforce… they have self locking drawers with a full length latch for a handle to unlock them….. nobody else that I’ve seen has such amazing features or quality as do the Menards boxes… not even Icon or Milwaukee has this feature and yet cost thousands more

The Yukon is bottom tier. The metal is thin and the casters screw into riv-nuts. Load this down with mechanic's tools and move it around on a regular basis and it will not hold up. This is a 'homeowner' type box at best...good for light-duty use. The double bank US General is a 'pro-sumer' grade box...much sturdier. The US General is for serious hobbyists, hardcore DIYers and techs just getting started in the biz. The Icon boxes are legit pro-grade.

To call the Yukon bottom tier is a little unfair. It's noticeably better and heavier than my old Craftsman and Menards tool box. It's impressive how good it is for the sale price of $300.

Bottom tier is a little excessive no?? I don’t think anyone would argue against it not being for pros but I mean even then…it wasn’t my box in the last shop I worked in but we had a community Yukon with specialty stuff in it and that’s where our vice was. Worked at that shop for three years and I never had issues moving it around loaded down every day. Slides all felt fine. That combined with it being only $300 for that amount of storage…pretty damn great in my opinion😂
