How long is the hike? Do you think 2 ladies in their mid 60’s can do this 😂 what is the best time of the year?

Paulette, I did 11 miles this day but I did some extra exploring. The hike isn’t bad if you’re in decent enough shape. There are trails that go to all these Falls. It’s not bad.

Cool hikes, how long do think it took to do round 1? I'm looking at trying to do some hiking on my way back from Branson on Monday and want to see all that. I'm hoping the falls are still flowing given the rain today and tomorrow. 1 day hopefully doesn't let it dry out much....I'm thinking all the way up until 12:03. Awesome videos too, thanks. Sorry to hear it ended that way, but looks like a good 2 or 3 days worth hiking. All nice views.

Jesse N , I saw all these falls on the same day. Took around 10 hours if I remember right. Up until the 12 minute mark was around noon. They’re fairly close together so you can knock them out pretty quick. I recommend Tim Ernest waterfalls book if you don’t already have it. Happy hiking and get out there early. 🙂

Fantastic videos my man! I'm in OKC and my son is now living in Arkansas (Conway) with his mother. Neither of us have camped or explored Arkansas. We plan on checking this spot out in a few weeks thanks to your videos. Would these hikes be manageable by a 12 year old? Any decent overnight camping in the area? Also, safe area to leave vehicles unattended when venturing off down these trails? Any additional info would be welcomed! Subbing to channel in hopes of more Arkansas videos.

Graham Andersen thanks for the comment. Any normal 12 year old should be able to make these hikes no problem. Just a couple creek crossings you should be prepared for. Richland creek campground has several overnight free camping spots. I’ve never had a problem leaving my vehicle at trailheads or the campground. Pretty safe area. There are also several primitive campgrounds at twin falls. It may be a good idea to camp there since it’s a couple miles hiking along the creek. Your son might appreciate the break. 😂😂 It’s a beautiful area, especially after some rain. The creek itself is worth the trip, the waterfalls are a little bonus. Safe travels and enjoy!!!!

@@OddManGraham Did you guys checkout the area? I'm in Conway now and will be that way Monday but have always heard great things about Richland.

@@jnordman86 Yes. My son lives in Conway when with his mother. Scooped him up and we headed a little north. The weather was perfect when we went. Small primitive camping area. Maybe 15 spots. Light car traffic throughout the weekend. Definitely a little off the beaten patch and very quiet. Also a few road side camping spots along the way there. Nice 2 mile trail up the side of the creek/river from camping area. Not a novice trail but it wasn't an expert either. We will be back for more exploring for sure!
