I used to have the scx 24 and am looking at the TRX4m in comparison so this video was epically helpful! Big gap in performance. Also noticeable is the TRX is so much quieter. Thank you so much!
You're welcome! Exactly what the video is for :)
(and I agree)
@@DutchRC thanks man!! Seriously this video was so informative! I'm excited to go get the great car!
Interesting to see your thoughts. We have two, both Defenders, that we have had for about 4 months now and we are very impressed. I'd have liked darker windows to mask the lack of interior, so that may a purchase later. We've added some brass to the front, which has helped, but our roff-rack accessories have countered that somewhat!😄 But we love them and the detailing is great, they are literally miniatures of our two TRX4 1/10ths. Incidentally, I think you'll find the shocks are oil filled? Nice video thought👍
Thanks for Your feedback! haha yes.. adding scale details bites you in the weight department ;)
My brother just received his RTX4M Defender.. indeed looks great! Are the stock windows these cars come with the "clear" ones of the darker ones by the way?? :$
Your shocks are oil-filled??? :O :O Mine aren't or it's super-duper light oil :)
@@DutchRC I think they come with the lighter windows and the darker tint is an option. Our regular RC supplier has them for a reasonable €9.90. I haven't had the shocks to pieces, but all the Traxxas info says they are oil filled - maybe they are not? That said, when I opened the shocks on our 1/10th Defenders, there was almost no oil in them!😄
@@DutchRC the quality control on the shocks is terrible. A lot of them leak after the first 1 or 2 runs. Some don’t even have oil or only a few drops. It’s just advisable to rebuild them yourself for consistency across all 4 corners.
@@JUSTHAVEFUNRC thanks for the heads up sir! Mine for sure work as well as shock with zero oil in them :)
@@DutchRC mine leaked within 2 runs and one was almost empty. I’m a little disappointed Becuase traxxas if anything always has good quality control even if they make some weak parts.
I have both but I prefer the scx24🔥
Interesting :) Why???
my finger is hovering over the order-button for a SCX24 Gladiator :$
