The first and only medley I have ever attempted. I love the idea of doing them, I'm just scared to repeat myself. I don't want to create another medley and then realize that it's basically just this song all over again. I have a lot of song stubs, which I have decided might work better as Extras. I definitely wanted to make more medleys, but I don't really think they would be different enough.
I generally tend to do just one take of a song, maybe re-recording certain tracks for one reason or another. When I get going, I get into this mood that influences everything that I do surrounding the project. If I decide to do another take after the original time has passed, it's often completely different.
I don't want to spend time working on the song if that time is going to eat into the time that I have the motivation to record them. I started recording little fragments of the full songs because I don't know if they're going to sound interesting enough/I don't know if I'll want to insert a bridge or something somewhere.
These are the reasons why I do this!! It's an awful habit! I just record mini songs, and I can't add more later, so I'm stuck with 1000 mini songs, and then I just dump em out, unfinished, into Thy Extras Playliste!!! This sucks!!!
