      @@deborahandersen982 it does kind of feel special. When it’s eventually finished we can start shaping the garden and planting. We are really exited about that!

    Hi. Been waiting for an update on the move-in. Congratulations! It looks amazing! Wife and I are contemplating doing similar (buy land and build new). Any chance you'll do a total cost update video?

      @@carlossousa4797 eventually! Still not finished though. There is a whole load of lessons learned that we would love to pass on too!

    Hi why did you end up with so many transitions on your flooring? Also they seem to run in different directions room to room.

      @@horacio9432 came down to cost! We couldn’t afford to tile ceramic everywhere. So it made sense to go with a warmer laminate in the living areas. So wherever it goes from ceramic to laminate you need the transition. It also delineates different spaces, which is why we didn’t try to match the pattern. It would have looked ‘tacky’ 😂
