- Welcome to DubOdyssey, a VW festival like no other where like-minded people get together to enjoy van life.
As the heavens open up and rain cascades from the sky, we embrace the chaos and transform it into an awe-inspiring spectacle.
Picture yourself standing in a vast, open field, surrounded by a sea of fellow festival-goers, all adorned in vibrant raincoats and colorful umbrellas. The air is charged with anticipation as the rain intensifies, transforming the atmosphere into a sensory masterpiece. Raindrops glisten like diamonds, creating a mesmerizing visual symphony against the Volkswagen vans and dances upon the faces of those gathered.
I always feel better after watching you two and your escapades. You remind me of me and my Mrs. Claire, you are so full of positive happy energy and you have a lovely smile 😁

Oh I loved that 👍 It looked fab and it’s not the sort of thing I’d normally consider going to not having a van myself but it was great to have a good old nosey at all the vans and cars.

Morning guys, another great video. Nice to see Clare got the porta loo review in early, walking boots on too? Pushing the boat out there Andy 🤣 saw in one of the comments a bit about motorhomes not being as interesting, I agree to an extent and will look at some super wide low profile alloys, maybe get the suspension lowered and paint our 4250kg, 7.5 mtr long motorhome pink. Yeah right, swmbo would beat me up with the ridge monkey. Btw great job with the toastie, take care and thanks for the giggles ❤

Walking boots was one of my finest ideas to keep us from getting wet and grumpy and they worked a treat!!
The toasties were great and saved ourselves a few quid but I nearly burnt my hand off and the machine we got is wayyyy to small.

Started my camping life with a 1972 Bay window vw, absolutely loved it even though it looked like a 💩slick coming down the road, it was hand painted in dark brown. 😂 until we repainted it pale blue.

@@Stchristopherofatlantis no unfortunately it was devoured by rust, I couldn’t get it through the mot so it had to go, now pull a wobble box around and as you know currently in Cornwall. It was known simply as Doo Van,
PS , loved the vlog, we used to go to Run to the Sun held in Newquay every year, love Wentworth Woodhouse too, like you it’s on our doorstep too, love the place and it’s history ( gone boring now)

Interesting thing struck us watching this video. Why aren't Motorhomes as interesting and colourful as VW Vans.... All motorhomes just look like white boxes! How much more interesting the Motorways of the UK would look with cool designs like these VW's!
And no... we're not going to start the trend... we want everyone else to do it first 🙂

We went to Campervan Campout in the south in May. It piddled down all weekend and we were amazed we got off the grass. I think we may give festivals a wide berth from now on 😮😂 🚐💙 Trev

I could only make half a sandwich every time so it took me agggeeeeesssssss….. 🥪
Oh man the rain... As for the Ridge Monkey, the single-most dangerous thing we use for cooking in the van; it's just so unbalanced - problem is it's a bit handy dandy. They just need to shorten the handles I reckon.
