I enjoy just watching you two folks walking n driving about, and hearing yas chat. It's perfect light entertainment for my brain in the mornings. Thanks
Just found this video. You chaps should have looked just inside the driveway on the right, beside the mill. There you would have found the ROC post. I know, because I served on this post for many years in the early seventies. We had access to the mill and would meet on the 4th floor if I remember correctly, of course exercises were carried out within the post. It was serious stuff, but also very interesting and a great bunch of lads to be with. We trained hard and were always on call if needed to man the post. Great memories. David.
Hi abandon explorers, our post was number 41 Post, it is next to the mill in Ingham. I would guess it is still there, but overgrown over the top of it. Great Times with great friends, but of course serious business at the time. The main headquarters was in Norwich. I hope this helps.
@@chittygb2489 this helps alot and I want to say thank you so much for being in the ROC I just want you to know I respect you so much for what you have done.
You missed the venting hatch for the underground part next to windmill. Its a hatch and you go down via metal ladder a few metres and it comes to a cylindrical room filed with tech connected with windmill. But I wasn't allowed to go in any further than the steps themselves. There was an open day event in the early 1990's.
Hey guys, ive been a sub of yours for years and I can’t believe ive never thought to ask a question that’s been bothering me for ages,I live in Brighton and the hill over the other side of the valley from me has a big set of double steel doors going into the hill, there’s an old wooden telegraph pole there that’s got wires hanging from it still but its odd that literally nobody seems to know anything about it,people walk their dogs up there and ventilation pipes are visible and it’s got a big area fenced off but easy to climb,I’d say in my experience of exploration that it’s got multiple levels and the doors could open up big enough for a wagon to get in? Maybe anyway it’s been a while since I’ve been here.. bevendene is the area anyway but yeah just wondering what you thought?
that area is by my aunt and uncles place, used to cycle round there :) head north a bit towards holt ROC place up their that my brother used to be a observer for
Loving your content, I can see you're especially passionate about war time Era, but does it interest you to investigate other things, such as Victorian buildings? Lost streets, abandoned property etc?
Been up the top of the windmill the ladder had been cut off half way and a piece of rope was tied on so climbed up the rope to the ladder the wooden floor up there is really rotten though.
hey maybe you guy should go ask the owner if they mind if you can go up and take a look, just sayin couldn't hurt, but still as ususal great video love ya buds
You guys really should get yourself a simple camera drone, the door was open so you could have at least pointed a camera in with a drone. You can get a small 1080p drone from kmart for about $140 AU (~ 50 pounds) so shouldnt be hard to get one yourself.

Here's how good your site is; even though you didn't get to explore inside or out, I still enjoyed watching it! Thumbs up fellas 👍
