My grandparents lived at number 3 for around 40 years and moved out back in 2007. I have many happy memories of the place and appreciate you guys getting the footage as it’s now been knocked down and lost to history.
My family lived there from just after your grandparents moved! We lived in number 3 from 2007 till 2015, so it really is lovely seeing footage of it all!
Just found your channel. Love to see abandoned places being explored. I especially like to see explorations in other countries since I live in the United States, southern California. Can't wait to see more videos, and watch all of the videos on your channel. Cheers and thanks for sharing your adventures.
Thanks for the sub, it's really appreciated, glad u like the channel, you've some really amazing footage in your videos, we are really hoping to get a drone too very soon.. 👍
I know what you mean about the vandals. I live in the desert in Nevada, USA. Even places that are isolated miles into the desert are covered in graffiti. Its baffling! This is a good video. Thank you.
sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Patrick Enzo I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Watching this whilst living in a council house, that also has mould and subsidence! 💔 Have yet to know what will happen next, what repairs will take place, if they need to move us out or what. It’s heartbreaking when your home is suffering from such problems.
It's so sad that this is still happening in this day and age.. people having to fight just to live in a safe home.. hope you manage to get the answers you're after very soon.. 😔
@@ExploringWithEmAndStu I moved when I was 19 when my parents moved to Sussex, me and my brother got a flat in Statham, then went our seperate ways , I then moved to Hastings, Then met my partner 5 years ago then moved to west Yorkshire mate.
👍 I also don't understand how vandals can find those places and why they destroy things, that's why I do not publish locations of abandoned places. Here in Estonia vandals also like to vandalize abandoned buildings.
No nor do we but they do it and find them and distrory... But il never condone these people but if they didn't get in we wouldn't legally be able to look at these places.. But still don't like what they do
i used to live there 5 years ago the council refussed to do any repairs on them as it wasnt cost effective and all 4 familys were evicted to new propertys when we left the houses the were in perfect condition the council dailed to lock the site down properly it was only last year they finaly put the metal up around the windows and doors to stop kids gettin into them
Yeah I had heard that they had some big damp problems which let to the tenants being evicted, shame coz they appeared well looked after when they were occupied. Sad to see them sitting there like that.
These houses have now been authorised for demolition and 10 brand new houses built on the plot of land. I always saw these houses and wondered why they were abandoned but apparently they had very bud mould and subsidence so the council thought it would be cheaper to move all the families out and put them in new houses rather than repair them.
Yes it was us who gave them the information about the location when they approached us and in return had asked for a little bit of publicity for our channel with possibly a link to our video or a mention of our channel name but it doesn't look like we really got that! Oh well lesson learnt when it comes to the press I guess.. 😒
i used to work in the factory right around the corner from this place and used to go there on lunch break. my dad said that they where farm houses and around 2008 they had to be vacated due to asbest or how every you spell it lol. its been boarded up with metal like that for years now doubt there is much in there. are you guys local to Norfolk?
It was on the EDP 24 Facebook page earlier today, if u like their page u should be able to find the article on there quite easily, or I'll try to post a link below.. the editor was supposed to have given us a mention in the article but not surprisingly seems to have forgotten 🤔
My mum and dad were one of the families that were moved out, we lived at no 2, the houses were damp and cold and needed updating but the council wouldn't do anything. They lived there for about 15 years? The two sheds and carport were built by my dad, and my mum kept chickens and ducks in the pen. It's really sad to see it in this state now, and definitely wasn't left in that condition when they moved out. I'm just glad my parents didn't wait for the councils offer of having one of the new houses they were supposed to be building on there, looks like they'd still be waiting! 😂
That's really interesting, if u look on Google earth the houses are still lived in and did look like they were well looked after and loved when occupied. Thanks for sharing your story 😊
We were moved out in 2015 and they belong to a housing association that was called Wherry Housing then went onto Circle 33, then taken over by Clarion housing. the sheds and car port in number two garden where built by myself and we kept chickens and then ducks at the end of the garden, the houses were not secured and literally everything was ripped out of the houses then two yrs later they decided to board them up with the steel covers, all the sheds had electric and the little electric shed under the tree you found in the garden used to be the electric supply for the rotary sess pitt, which was moved to my garden in number 2. some yrs before we moved in.
