Part of what I liked about him was he wasn't completely evil especially the moments when he defended his sister and took revenge for his father

I swear mafia 2 is the best for many reasons it may not have the most realism like mafia 1 story has but they perfectly balanced the humor and action and the sadness, the story, the ENDING everything in one package it’s the perfect game it never gets boring! Games should be like that and it’s crazy it’s the shortest but yet in my view the best one. Truly all three games is a masterpiece yea even mafia 3 it may be a bad mafia game but it isn’t a bad game in general. My only problem is Henry should have a dlc and not the random guy Jimmy but we move.

We are getting mafia 4 that’s in the works right now. I doubt it will have scaletta in it though. He would have to be old as hell if it’s set after the events of mafia 3.
That being said, Vito’s sister did get married and most likely had a kid so I think they can connect the events together

You know tbh Vito Scalleta always kind of looked like Ricky Nelson to me Lol, He's definitely one of my favorite video game protagonists of all time, I like Tommy Angelo as well but since Mafia 2 was my first Mafia game I gotta admit that I'm Team Vito all the way

I liked him as a kid. But when I got older..he's an asshole. Literally one rule. No drugs. And he just let it happen. Or atleast it looks like that in the game.
Although I don't blame him entirely for that (he himself didn't want to do it), you kinda have a point. He should have been a bit more assertive in that moment. He shouldn't have gone along with it (although I understand why he did, I mean Henry and Joe were his buddies and he propably saw the opportunity too). Despite that, I really like Vito as a character.

It's quite simple. He had already been on the dark road for some time. He had already killed hundreds, what's 2 more guys. Plus he had a certain goal in mind, and they could have still stopped him from getting there. It was simply an act of self-preservation.
