- After more than 50 years, investigators have closed the "Mississippi Burning" case of three civil rights workers who were murdered in Mississippi. Bill Plante has more on the closing of the case, for a crime he covered for CBS News more than half a century ago.
I hate this... It's unbelievable that this was happening in 1964 SMH... Just disgusting man!!!
Here it is over 50 years later & MS is only now taking down the confederate flag! 50 years of being #1 in teen age pregnancy & illiteracy. Poverty & unemployment thru the roof.
@@samanthab1923 I know a whole lot of successful black folks... Take your BS elsewhere!!
Iam Thepapi Truth hurts. Had nothing to do with weather you know successful "black folks" as you call them. How patronizing.
Mobster Tony Scarpa, who was also an informant, was sent to Mississippi and solved the case.
James Chaney was badly tortured, they broke his arms and legs then shot him in the head. Andrew Goodnan was still alive when he was shot in the head so he was buried alive with the others. Sad story 🥲
When are they gonna open the case about the 8 black bodies that were found in the same river they were searching for these 3? Didn’t their lives matter too?
I just found out that I’m related to Micheal Schwerner. It’s rlly sad what happened
What!?You can’t just close the case you don’t even know who did it!!!!
Stop trying to play it off , you are using people to harm me, sorry did not do it
???
