It seems like you would use the condensate pan treatment tables to prevent that drain line clogging. At least at your daughters house, since you are over there often enough to replace as needed.

Steve, I have seen several of those E-Z trap switches not work when on a “dead end “ fitting. I believe the blower creates enough vacuum because of no vent to not allow enough water in to trip the switch.
This is the second video that I’ve seen where the switch didn’t work.
Question, at work we put antimicrobial pads in the pans for commercial units. Wouldn't that be a good idea for those residential homes systems to help keep them clean? ? Ms. Molly got some ice cream 🍦😋

Nice trick. I used to buy the $35 shop vac, leave it hooked up outside, tape up the float in the vacuum, cut the primary drain, hook a hose to that, now you have a long hose shop vac.

You seem to have a lot better luck with pulling those clogs using that plug in vacuum than those cats with those battery powered portable ones I see on other channels.
110 VOLT IS WAY BETTER THEN A BATTERY UNIT I HAVE A DROP LIGHT UP THERE ANYWAY WITH POWER .. I WILL STICK WITH MY 110 VOLT STUFF
Hopefully the insulation on the inner wires on your water pump aren't exposed, since the outer insulation of the cord is sliced through, exposing the wires. That could be deadly shocking!
