    Very accurate although the static itself is a LOT more prominent. and When I close my eyes I see extremely vividly colored patterns

      do you see geometric shapes in peripheral?

    • @wilaemjenaridaephius7880
      @wilaemjenaridaephius7880 8 лет назад +19

      Jacoby Nero Bruh, I see fractalized ancient geometry within the static snow, constantly morphing and changing into different/more complex shapes... sometimes even collapsing into flower-of-life patterns, re-expanding into geometry continuously uninterrupted even as I close one or both eyes slowly or rapidly.
      To top it off, there's moments within the static snow where I'm face to face with an image of someone I've never seen before whom is making full on eye contact with me.
      All pervading, it's been on my whole life. As a kid, I'd lay in bed staring at the wall watching what I see in this all pervading infinite projection/overlay.
      Note: Focusing on the static whilst looking in the mirror may have you witness things you'd rather not see.

    I can’t believe this isn’t normal and I just found out at almost 46 yrs old. Found out last year I have ADHD because I didn’t know the “symptoms” I was having weren’t normal. Now this year I find out I have VSS for the same reason. Thanks for this video! I finally found an answer to something I experience. Temporary focus blindness!! Thank you! I also get night blindness, my eyes basically never adjust to the dark so I can’t see. Basically see the snow the whole time, and in dim or low light it’s the worst. I pretty much see everything as gray and it’s hard to distinguish between objects. I hate driving at dawn and dusk. I avoid it at all costs if I can or I always have someone with me so they can help me see properly. So glad to have answers to all of this. Now if only there was a way to ease up the worst symptoms, but knowing is half the battle!! Thanks again for this!!

      I am full of gratitude for have found his video, because through a comment of a subscriber of my You Tube channel, asking me for help because he has visual problems, Ive just realized I also have the same thing. I can not remember when I noticed this VISUAL SNOW, but I never botherd myself with it, because all those things: Floaters, Visual Snow and Tinnitus started when I started feeling a strong spiritual calling. There are much more to discovery in this quantum reality that doctors can not know. One day quantum physics will explain all those symptoms to us. I trully believe The future of heath is the hands of physics and not in chemistry. All those symptoms in my personal opnion, based on my personal experiences of astral projection, remote viweing and induced near death experiences, tell me that they are ALL signs we are becaming quantum humans. We arenow taping into paralel realities and dimensions. Tom Campbell, an ex NASA scientist, wrote My Big TOE(Theory of Everything) after more than 30 years of scientific explorations of another realms through astral projection and he got the conclusion, his conclusion, that all this reality is a virtual reality, therefore nothing more natural that we start SEEING and hearing things that are not considered "normal" to us.
      . I will make a video on my channel to show it to all my flollowers. It will help a lot all of them to see what I see. :)
      Bless you. Lots of light and love for every single one that read this message.

  • @NikoBell12

    I developed this 3 months ago after eye strain that wouldn't go away and continued to progress. It went from heavy eyes to pressure and it was real bad pressure. To the point where I could not stand to do anything or be in any position. It started with flickering in my peripheral then heat wave vision. Then visual snow and continued to progress from there with on and off throbbing behind my eyes. I've been to 6 professional eye doctors and had an ERG done two weeks ago which came back normal. If I could list my current symptoms. Basically right now I have visual noise, so bad that I can barely see at night. It's full of afterimages and palinopsia and snow, my vision is always "messy" now.
    But you know what? I can still see. I spent two months fearing I was going blind. I'm not, at least I hope. I could live with all of this my life if it meant not going blind. After a while you just get over it and it becomes normal. :)

    • @NikoBell12
      @NikoBell12 8 лет назад +1

      Draven Yup. Military so it's kind of free and this is a very important matter so might as well take advantage of it. Like now if I blink there's a slight dark smokey cloud in the center of my vision in both eyes and after getting an ERG and OCTs and images regularly they can't find a thing. And they do know what they're doing and my regular retinal specialist is very experienced and they're resorting to making me see a neuro ophthalmologist. I've given up on caring. I'll go to my appointments and update them but I'm like, nothing can be done. The fear of anything going wrong stopped months ago.

    I have visual snow. During the day it looks like mild film grain, but at night it's pink green and white and much coarser. I thought everyone saw the world like this.
    Seeing an image repeat itself is called palinopsia. I have that too. For me it can be anything from a faint pink or green ghostly impression of what I just looked at or it can be a near perfect repeating full colour image.

    My case is odd. My vision's fine for the most part during the day under normal lighting conditions (except for brief, negative afterimages and blue field phenomena or whatever it's called when I look at the sky) but it gets hella grainy in the dark. If I don't think about it, it actually doesn't affect me much but it does get pretty distracting when I'm watching films or playing videogames and gets me depressed when I actually start thinking about it. Not entirely sure how I got it, but it started about a month or so after a bad bout of depersonalization (courtesy of a bad experience with strong weed). Had it for almost two years now and am hoping I'll see the day when either a cure is found or mine goes away naturally.

      Adam ... If it occurred through drug use, it might actually go away or get lessened. Some people have experimented again, got a high dose of something else (or even a really good, smooth experience), then it ended. Not sure, but you could read about it. Do you still experiment or use? Also, if you stop any use, then the hallucinogenic toxicity (if it is that) might slowly ebb or fade away. Not a doctor, but I've been reading a lot about it over the year/s.

    Thank you for posting this video. I don't have visual snow, but my wife told me about a month ago that she's had it almost as long as she can remember. She was trying to explain it to me, like the static you see on TV but her seeing it all the time in her field of vision, and as hard as I tried I just couldn't picture it, and I felt very bad about that. This is very accurate to my vison, I think the only difference is I don’t have many floaters (at least not very noticable ones) and when I close my eyes after looking at a screen or bright building like in the video, the original image will show up like either all pink, all blue, if that makes sense. I’m glad I’m not alone though, I’ve had this all my life and only found out the diagnosis just recently.

And I’ll see hundreds of them at a time, usually when I look at a clear blue sky. And even when I am just sitting down, and I move slightly they’ll act up. And they’ll scatter around my vision, appearing out of nowhere and disappearing right before my eyes. Sometimes they look like they’re on a two dimensional plane, other times I’ll see them move either closer or further away. It’s weird, and there’s no term I can find for this phenomenon or condition.

    Hi David! I can relate to a lot of what was shown on the video. I don't personally feel like those symptoms affect my everyday life, it is only when I relaxe myself in a very calm moment that I notice these things. Are you sure that most of these aren't just mundane byproduct of our visual senses? I think, when eyes closed, those tunnel-like effects are something called hypnagogic hallucinations and can be observed when person is very relaxed or on the contrary feeling anxiety. I had a pretty bad anxiety while ago and I saw and observed these things more strongly. It can be that the hyperalertness of anxiety also made me recognize these more explicitly. What do you think?

      Jaime I do have tinnitus too. :) I am full of gratitude for have found his video, because through a comment of a subscriber of my You Tube channel, asking me for help because he has visual problems, Ive just realized I also have the same thing.

    Pretty cool. Mine's kind of like that; never seen it visualized before. My static/snow is way faster and more dominant and smaller. Looks like actual TV static basically. I get way, way more "ghosting" than the afterimages there - like the outer edges double up but fade instantly when I look away to a new thing. If you've ever played world of warcraft, it's like the shaman quests in the spirit realm. My afterimages also aren't anywhere close to that defined. Oh, and I also get this... Like if I look at that asbestos popcorn ceiling like in most US houses (other noisy patterns like that too), I'll see like a double of it sort of oozing/drifting against the still one that randomly changes direction every so often - like the parallax shader games use for lava/waterfalls/etc? I'm not sure if that's palinopsia symptom or a hallucination
    I've been housebound for years and have symptoms of extreme isolation - one is the "black dots" hallucinations prisoners in solitary and people lost at sea mention. But I took a medicine that gave me psychotic depression recently as a side effect for over a year, and like I started to have other variations of the black dots and other things, but all just visual (I think). But yeah, it's confusing to sort out from my palinopsia. Anyone I try to talk to when I try to figure out what's what just gets freaked out and calls all my palinopsia stuff hallucinations too, and it's kind of pointless to try to discuss with most people.
    Another thing is, I get the full field of view flashes like that in the video occasionally, but also small, localized, lightbulb-sized ones more often. And that type of thing is often attributed to retinal detachment, and I'm kind of worried it might be that and not my visual snow... I don't know.

    I too have visual snow, though not as bad as what is shown. Mainly just static with extreme sensitivity to sunlight. When I close my eyes it is similar to what you depicted, only it is primarily black with white static with white lights/shapes.
    Sunlight is horrible for me, as it is so bright it becomes extremely painful and I can barely see. I tend to have to close one eye and squint with my dominant eye as I block as much as I can with my hand; a very unpleasant experience I have to deal with every day.
    My friends and loved ones can never understand when I tell them I see in static. They can't really grasp it and tend to be very dismissive. I try to give them examples ,such as an older tv that's grainy/out of focus, but they don't really get where I am coming from or what I am trying to express.

    I'm concerned I may have Palinopsia that just started couple days ago. I don't have vision snow unless it's pitch black which I think every normal person gets. I don't get after images. I do get occasional floaters but only if I look for them. I have had tinnitus for about a year now. The biggest and most severe symptom I have which I have not been able to find any videos of is sort of like a trails for moving vehicles. instead of the vehicle smoothly moving its almost as if it's skipping a frame or glitching out. I don't know how else to describe it, but it's not anything like the trails symptoms I've heard other people having. I don't see multiples of the same vehicle, just one vehicle but it keeps skipping. It's like when your high on weed. (I haven't smoked weed for 6-7 months but obviously am not ruling that out). Oh and the symptoms started when I was on an exercise and didn't get any sleep for 2 days and was pretty stressed out. Can anyone relate?

      As a 17 year old, I don't do any drugs and I've had it since I was 13. I can confirm that this is VERY related to abusing TV and PC.

    • @bennemann
      @bennemann 6 лет назад

      Boran, that proves absolutely NOTHING. Your argument is as valid as someone who has back pain and eats a lot of lettuce claiming lettuce causes back pain. Pretty dumb, right?
      Such an argument would only be valid with controlled, scientific data coming from a study on thousands of people so that a causation could be reliably established. Your anecdotal evidence isn't worth squat, especially considering that I, and surely hundreds of millions of others, abused TV and PC all our lives and never had visual snow.

    • @Norwheon
      @Norwheon 6 лет назад

      bennemann, I can't even express how dogmatic your point of view about my comment sounds. Just because you don't have visual snow doesn't mean that other people who abuse TV and computer usage cannot have it; for instance, it can be related to how easily one can get visually disturbed by flashing images that are displayed on the screen, also depending on the amount of time you pass in front of it.
      You're saying that my "argument" would only be valid in case of scientific researches proving it. Yet researches have never been accurate enough to determine the roots of visual snow and a potential cure, so I don't know how they could currently prove my "argument" with so little understanding of visual snow. However I can definitely observe that my visual snow gets more intense when I abuse TV and/or use my PC for a long time.
      I don't get your point. Are you saying that what I experienced is bullshit? Why would I even lie about such a thing? As someone who doesn't have visual snow, maybe you should taste the disease and see for yourself if abusing screens helps or not.

    • @Norwheon
      @Norwheon 6 лет назад

      And I think you misunderstood my comment. I meant to say that abusing computer screen *increases* visual snow for me, but it does not necessarily cause visual snow.

    Would seeing flashes of eyes whether your eyes are open or closed be something with Visual snow? Everything in this is in my vision except the after images are faint and they become more clear once I close my eyes. So if I see/think of something scary it appears and thats the reason It takes me a long time to fall asleep.
