The Emo Thingy yes, absolutely. Look up "chimerical colors", I find the colors I see look a lot like that. Super vibrant, they almost look like ultraviolet light
Jacoby Nero Bruh, I see fractalized ancient geometry within the static snow, constantly morphing and changing into different/more complex shapes... sometimes even collapsing into flower-of-life patterns, re-expanding into geometry continuously uninterrupted even as I close one or both eyes slowly or rapidly. To top it off, there's moments within the static snow where I'm face to face with an image of someone I've never seen before whom is making full on eye contact with me. All pervading, it's been on my whole life. As a kid, I'd lay in bed staring at the wall watching what I see in this all pervading infinite projection/overlay. Note: Focusing on the static whilst looking in the mirror may have you witness things you'd rather not see.
Hmm, it seems i got a different kind of noise. Mine is like the one on tv with out an antena, just static, but much smaller pixels, like an overlay over everything i see.
Milan Djuricic same... I also see lights to have very bright circles around them and when my eyes are shut it has weird geometric shapes :/ no floaters tho.
I have the same problem, I think it comes from the LSD I used when I was very young, I also see this strange kind of warp tunnel pattern on bring sunny days if I stare long enough, then it starts to freak me out and I start worrying that I will see it permanently over everything if I don't stop focusing on it... but the visual snow is persistent at all times.
I can’t believe this isn’t normal and I just found out at almost 46 yrs old. Found out last year I have ADHD because I didn’t know the “symptoms” I was having weren’t normal. Now this year I find out I have VSS for the same reason. Thanks for this video! I finally found an answer to something I experience. Temporary focus blindness!! Thank you! I also get night blindness, my eyes basically never adjust to the dark so I can’t see. Basically see the snow the whole time, and in dim or low light it’s the worst. I pretty much see everything as gray and it’s hard to distinguish between objects. I hate driving at dawn and dusk. I avoid it at all costs if I can or I always have someone with me so they can help me see properly. So glad to have answers to all of this. Now if only there was a way to ease up the worst symptoms, but knowing is half the battle!! Thanks again for this!!
Being depressive and negative will solve nothing, we need to accept it and calm down bros! In some of the cases Visual Snow goes away, but we need to stay positive. You are not alone :D
OuscarX! only times I stressed when I was young was at night cause it looked like ants everywhere. once i realized it was just my eyes I calmed down, only reason I worry now is cause of retinal detachment, I really hope that doesn't happen
Yes, best thing you can do is accept it, what I normally do, when I wake up (usually when it's most stronger) I usually just let it pass, take deep breath, and just relax your mind, also always make sure to be positive and not to overthink about it, be aware of your weaknesses such as light-sensitivity and just be happy =)
I am in utter disbelief and gratitude that you were able to create a visual representation of these symptoms I struggle SO hard to communicate. I see nearly all of the same and have tried desperately to explain them to others, this is such a tool! Thank you!
Thank you for making this video. This is the only tool I found to help example how I see on a daily basis to my neurologist. However, my daylight vision is a little different. I see sparkles like glitter by the thousands all over any area that is bright. Anything reflecting the sun looks like a diamond bright star burst. And then finally, I have this strange phenomenon of camera like strobe lights in random places and all over my field of vision. All day, every day. Thank you again. It's only been since 1995 have I been looking.
+Noriana Davis well, unfortunately, i think the doctor put himself on the vss website to draw more clients. he only tried two pills on me, and advised that vss is typical of patients that had a hallucinogenic habit. which doesn't explain my symptoms that I have had since birth. they are getting worse and more difficult to ignore now.
Yessss!!! I thought it was just in my head (well... it is) but I thought I was wired and just making stuff up when I’m bored. It’s kind of fun... but it can be very distracting when I’m trying to focus - like when I’m taking a test!
Funkyboodah mine is almost that extreme, few things vary. light beams, halos, static.. dead on point. floaters come and go.. they don't stand there. the after image was very extreme mine is not like that. but I have flickering specs in the feild of my vision. I see in the day very clear. colors are very distorted as well. it's like a 24/7 mild acid trip that never ends
I am full of gratitude for have found his video, because through a comment of a subscriber of my You Tube channel, asking me for help because he has visual problems, Ive just realized I also have the same thing. I can not remember when I noticed this VISUAL SNOW, but I never botherd myself with it, because all those things: Floaters, Visual Snow and Tinnitus started when I started feeling a strong spiritual calling. There are much more to discovery in this quantum reality that doctors can not know. One day quantum physics will explain all those symptoms to us. I trully believe The future of heath is the hands of physics and not in chemistry. All those symptoms in my personal opnion, based on my personal experiences of astral projection, remote viweing and induced near death experiences, tell me that they are ALL signs we are becaming quantum humans. We arenow taping into paralel realities and dimensions. Tom Campbell, an ex NASA scientist, wrote My Big TOE(Theory of Everything) after more than 30 years of scientific explorations of another realms through astral projection and he got the conclusion, his conclusion, that all this reality is a virtual reality, therefore nothing more natural that we start SEEING and hearing things that are not considered "normal" to us. . I will make a video on my channel to show it to all my flollowers. It will help a lot all of them to see what I see. :) Bless you. Lots of light and love for every single one that read this message. WE ARE ONE!!! :) Namastê
Honestly, I've every one of those symptoms since I was a child except the stars. I'm used to it, it's odd talking about it since I thought it was normal. I'm having more difficulties with recently getting Tinnitus than the visual snow.
@@ArunSharma-bq1kg Funny, that you just "started noticing" 6 years ago. Makes me grin, a little. I was born, I guess, color-deficient, more minor color-blindness. And, gosh, I never knew. So, one day, I was taking that color test. You ever done it? [I'll give you a link ... enchroma.com/pages/color-blind-test] Or, one of those similar, and I found out that I can't see certain combinations. It's weird. I would have never known, because it's just how I see. So, yeah, now I notice it a little more, bez I know what to look for. But, it's not getting worse (maybe a little), but I'm older. So, I guess that is to be expected.
I developed this 3 months ago after eye strain that wouldn't go away and continued to progress. It went from heavy eyes to pressure and it was real bad pressure. To the point where I could not stand to do anything or be in any position. It started with flickering in my peripheral then heat wave vision. Then visual snow and continued to progress from there with on and off throbbing behind my eyes. I've been to 6 professional eye doctors and had an ERG done two weeks ago which came back normal. If I could list my current symptoms. Basically right now I have visual noise, so bad that I can barely see at night. It's full of afterimages and palinopsia and snow, my vision is always "messy" now. But you know what? I can still see. I spent two months fearing I was going blind. I'm not, at least I hope. I could live with all of this my life if it meant not going blind. After a while you just get over it and it becomes normal. :)
Draven Yup. Military so it's kind of free and this is a very important matter so might as well take advantage of it. Like now if I blink there's a slight dark smokey cloud in the center of my vision in both eyes and after getting an ERG and OCTs and images regularly they can't find a thing. And they do know what they're doing and my regular retinal specialist is very experienced and they're resorting to making me see a neuro ophthalmologist. I've given up on caring. I'll go to my appointments and update them but I'm like, nothing can be done. The fear of anything going wrong stopped months ago.
I was soo nervous because of this I went to 4 doc ( MD in ortho retina etc) most of them had no idea. Atlast I sit back and think for those ppl wo are blind ( there are soo many of them) atleast m a much much better position as I can see.. Waiting for any research takes place and a cure is found..
I have visual snow. During the day it looks like mild film grain, but at night it's pink green and white and much coarser. I thought everyone saw the world like this. Seeing an image repeat itself is called palinopsia. I have that too. For me it can be anything from a faint pink or green ghostly impression of what I just looked at or it can be a near perfect repeating full colour image. I see pin prick sized stars that are brighter than any star in the sky too ... I have migraines.
Very accurate simulation👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼(even though for me the static and the tinnitus are a lot more prominent) In my case these shapes and flashes sometimes seem to move to the beat of music. I sometimes watch them with fascination but other times it’s just frightening or annoying.
Sohphie ... Were you born with it? Did you develop it? Any type of injury? Or, how did it come about? Answer if you would. Thanks. I'm trying to learn more about other's symptoms.
2:08 THAT'S WHAT ITS CALLED?!?! my gosh I've dealt with that since i was a child. This whole simulation in full is how I see with my eyes closed and with my eyes open since i was a kid, for so many years. I tried to talk about it, but people said i was crazy. I struggled with it for so long. Also, does the "temp." in "temp. focus blindness" mean temporary or temperature?
My case is odd. My vision's fine for the most part during the day under normal lighting conditions (except for brief, negative afterimages and blue field phenomena or whatever it's called when I look at the sky) but it gets hella grainy in the dark. If I don't think about it, it actually doesn't affect me much but it does get pretty distracting when I'm watching films or playing videogames and gets me depressed when I actually start thinking about it. Not entirely sure how I got it, but it started about a month or so after a bad bout of depersonalization (courtesy of a bad experience with strong weed). Had it for almost two years now and am hoping I'll see the day when either a cure is found or mine goes away naturally.
Your description fits me quite well. I have had it since I was a child and I'm used to it. I've never had any drugs. It doesn't disturb me but lately maybe I'm more aware of it
Adam ... If it occurred through drug use, it might actually go away or get lessened. Some people have experimented again, got a high dose of something else (or even a really good, smooth experience), then it ended. Not sure, but you could read about it. Do you still experiment or use? Also, if you stop any use, then the hallucinogenic toxicity (if it is that) might slowly ebb or fade away. Not a doctor, but I've been reading a lot about it over the year/s.
I really hope there would be a cure already! I've had VS for a year now and I can't focus at school, I get anxiety all the time just by thinking about this.
When I first saw this it was like time slowed to a crawl. All my life I just thought these snowy pictures just couldn't be and i just had a good imagination. I started to pay attention when this face is angrily sreaming at me, I dont hear anything. I am 50 now. This is the first time iv ever said these things outside of my own mind. Then when ringing at the end,,, that is concrete for me....thanks for sharing this.
Excellent simulation. The symptoms I've been experiencing are very similar except the after images are immediate and neon green/pink. And instead of seeing fractals, I see weird pulsating honeycomb shapes (that are usually very faint thankfully).
2019 Started with - Floaters (Excessive) - BFEP (Excessive) - Static (Mild) - Negative after images - Palinopsia/Trailing - Flashes - Purkinje Tree Phenomena - Tunnel Vision - Vortex - Phosphenes - Light senstivity - Halos/ Starbursts / Glare - Double Vision - Pulsating Vision Non Visuals - Tinnitus - Migraines - Constant Anxiety - Depression You always hear Motivational speakers motivates you on your dreams but never hear them saying something on cancer , chronic illness , mental health, all they talk about "yes i have been through depression" sucka you just went through silly a heart break "Sometimes even to live is an act of courage"
ME TOO. I only see static and it's really, really annoying. Also, I see dark/greenish/purplish spots when I look at any type of light, or anything that emits brightness - but I think that's not part of the visual snow's symptoms? Not sure.
I do have tinnitus as well. I trullu believe these are signs we are bebcaming quantum humans, taping in others paralel realities. :) WE ARE ONE! :) Namastê
I thought this was normal? Ive had this as a child aswell. I did have strong medications when i was little, could this be the cause? and is it worth it to get checked out?
Thank you so much for this I am literally tearing up at home on point this is after trying so hard to explain this to people, doctors and optician. Hoping for a cure!
Thank you for posting this video. I don't have visual snow, but my wife told me about a month ago that she's had it almost as long as she can remember. She was trying to explain it to me, like the static you see on TV but her seeing it all the time in her field of vision, and as hard as I tried I just couldn't picture it, and I felt very bad about that. Thank you for posting this video so I can have a better understanding of what my wife goes through.
This is very accurate to my vison, I think the only difference is I don’t have many floaters (at least not very noticable ones) and when I close my eyes after looking at a screen or bright building like in the video, the original image will show up like either all pink, all blue, if that makes sense. I’m glad I’m not alone though, I’ve had this all my life and only found out the diagnosis just recently.
AptWinds really? But when I told my mom she said that it was common for people to see those things and also a friend experienced it while closing her eyes and pressing it hard.
me too, ive felt so alone with this. I see sparkly black and white crazy moving dots when looking at the sky, static all the time (better when looking at a screen strangely) and faint vein like overlays sometimes when looking at blank walls. everyone ive told about it either has no clue what im talking about or thinks its just floaters and "oh i get them all the time too". so frustrating. Be nice to chat to some other people who have this too and how you guys made it better/worse and how you live with it!
I have the same thing with the dots only mine aren’t like a solid white. They’re more like a golden star color. And they’re the size of pins. And I’ll see hundreds of them at a time, usually when I look at a clear blue sky. And even when I am just sitting down, and I move slightly they’ll act up. And they’ll scatter around my vision, appearing out of nowhere and disappearing right before my eyes. Sometimes they look like they’re on a two dimensional plane, other times I’ll see them move either closer or further away. It’s weird, and there’s no term I can find for this phenomenon or condition.
You are not alone, my Friend. I've been having the same symptoms, 24/7, 365, for over 15 years now. I can barely stand it, it's so frustrating, sometimes i don't know what is going on around me. If there's some MDs watching this. Please, help us!
I jave it too almost everything i see where theres light. I can see tge image again bright dots like dark shapes moving in the side of my field like the afterimage i gey scared .ophtalmologist said everything looks notmal inside .
Holy shit the focus blindness is a visual snow symptom? I had it occur in a job interview when it's like the dudes face dissappeared from my vision it was so trippy and scary, I've had all of these symptoms for years but the time focus blindness this is new
do you have floters and tinnitus too? Because I do and I am very interested on this. Ive just discoved about this visual snow... Ive since my spiritual awakening.
@@cris.formuladatransformacao I have visual snow too and it's scary, did your vision ever become better or is this sort of a degenerative thing that gets worse? And yes I have tinnitus, got it a couple weeks before the first static
I am 17 now and i legit just even found out this isnt normal.. I have been worried sometimes but each time i tried to explain people didnt get me and tols me it was normal.. I only know my mother took some medicine throughout her pregnancy for my eyes and my brain. I dont have a problem with it though as long as it cant make me blind.
I literally could cry right now. I’ve had visual snow for 6 years now. This entire video is exactly what I see. Down to the T. The only thing is I’ve been experiencing dizziness for over a year and I don’t know if it’s bc of my VSS or Covid vaccine related. I wish the dizziness would go away. I’ll deal with VSS.
GOD BLESS you @Ebin S David. The Doctors can no longer pretend to listen to our issues , we just need to show them this video and hopefully they will be more compassionate and not tell us it is because we stress
I'd like to think the cause of visual snow/hppd is damaged serotonin receptors, this is something that would be extremely hard to cure, especially with such a small percentage of individuals having this condition, there would be no profit for pharmaceutical companies, and all they care about today is money.
Jacob Molina lol i have visual snow...but i dont see it as a disease....i see it as a gift ...its truly a beauty to something inside the world that most people cant see
The thing that bothers me the most about having visual snow is that I’ve never genuinely seen a clear sky. No matter what, my entire vision is clouded over by what I guess I would say looks like tiny black and white flashing and flickering dots. I guess since I’ve had it for as long as I remember I don’t know what life is without it but it still sucks.
This was AMAZING. Your closed eye vision is the same as mine! I also have trails with movement - the only thing you didn’t mention. Other than that, it was a very thorough description!
Hi David! I can relate to a lot of what was shown on the video. I don't personally feel like those symptoms affect my everyday life, it is only when I relaxe myself in a very calm moment that I notice these things. Are you sure that most of these aren't just mundane byproduct of our visual senses? I think, when eyes closed, those tunnel-like effects are something called hypnagogic hallucinations and can be observed when person is very relaxed or on the contrary feeling anxiety. I had a pretty bad anxiety while ago and I saw and observed these things more strongly. It can be that the hyperalertness of anxiety also made me recognize these more explicitly. What do you think?
It is EXACTLY LIKE THAT. I just don't have the floaters and the beams. Thank you for the video. That's the best content ever to express the full experience.

I see the same things but I've learnt how to ignore it in fact when I was little I quite liked the fact that I saw these things I thought it was cool well now I know it isn't
Yup! I think I somehow missed the actual static in the video. Mine is a super-fine blue/red, like 97-98% transparent thank God, smaller than pixels on a high-res screen, but my entire field of vision. Is the closing-iris wipe effect one of your symptoms too? I get that, when I feel an actual migraine coming on. This was a little more psychedelic/pronounced than my effects. No fractals, but "blood cells through capillaries under a microscope" floaters, especially during and after exercise. Well done.
@@verrnomfurry1954 it's been the same* for 43 years, as far as I can tell. *When I'm tired, sick, etc. it becomes more pronounced until I've had a good night's sleep.
@@christopherkissinger3580 oh okk. I first got the static like thing like a year ago and as time went by I started getting some of the other symptoms. I was really scared cos it seems to be getting worse with time and you know what that implies with anything eye related. I showed my doctor this video and I'm supposed to get a test done in a few days (although I doubt they'll find anything cos from these comments it seems more brain related than eye), I'm glad you can at least reply me, that's the first reply I've gotten from people so far, at least that has doused my fears a lil bit. Take it easy man and thank you
Wow! I didn't know I had visual snow. I tried describing it and my friend was like what... Looked at this video and this is EXACTLY what I see, albeit milder. Thanks for the video.
Pretty cool. Mine's kind of like that; never seen it visualized before. My static/snow is way faster and more dominant and smaller. Looks like actual TV static basically. I get way, way more "ghosting" than the afterimages there - like the outer edges double up but fade instantly when I look away to a new thing. If you've ever played world of warcraft, it's like the shaman quests in the spirit realm. My afterimages also aren't anywhere close to that defined. Oh, and I also get this... Like if I look at that asbestos popcorn ceiling like in most US houses (other noisy patterns like that too), I'll see like a double of it sort of oozing/drifting against the still one that randomly changes direction every so often - like the parallax shader games use for lava/waterfalls/etc? I'm not sure if that's palinopsia symptom or a hallucination I've been housebound for years and have symptoms of extreme isolation - one is the "black dots" hallucinations prisoners in solitary and people lost at sea mention. But I took a medicine that gave me psychotic depression recently as a side effect for over a year, and like I started to have other variations of the black dots and other things, but all just visual (I think). But yeah, it's confusing to sort out from my palinopsia. Anyone I try to talk to when I try to figure out what's what just gets freaked out and calls all my palinopsia stuff hallucinations too, and it's kind of pointless to try to discuss with most people. Another thing is, I get the full field of view flashes like that in the video occasionally, but also small, localized, lightbulb-sized ones more often. And that type of thing is often attributed to retinal detachment, and I'm kind of worried it might be that and not my visual snow... I don't know.
anyone else purposefully project this video onto the wall next to them bc i did !! just figured out i DoNT have schizophrenia like i thought i did my whole childhood and i just have these visual disturbances!!!! life complete now i can treat this
Until a few weeks ago i tought it was normal to see this and everybody had this. I love playing around with my eyes, I don’t mind having Visual Snow. It’s just mind-blowing that I’ll never get to see how others do.
I too have visual snow, though not as bad as what is shown. Mainly just static with extreme sensitivity to sunlight. When I close my eyes it is similar to what you depicted, only it is primarily black with white static with white lights/shapes. Sunlight is horrible for me, as it is so bright it becomes extremely painful and I can barely see. I tend to have to close one eye and squint with my dominant eye as I block as much as I can with my hand; a very unpleasant experience I have to deal with every day. My friends and loved ones can never understand when I tell them I see in static. They can't really grasp it and tend to be very dismissive. I try to give them examples ,such as an older tv that's grainy/out of focus, but they don't really get where I am coming from or what I am trying to express.
@@jessicap.478 oh okk, so it's not degenerative then? Cos that's my only fear, the fact that it could get worse to the point of... you know what... gives me so much anxiety
I'm concerned I may have Palinopsia that just started couple days ago. I don't have vision snow unless it's pitch black which I think every normal person gets. I don't get after images. I do get occasional floaters but only if I look for them. I have had tinnitus for about a year now. The biggest and most severe symptom I have which I have not been able to find any videos of is sort of like a trails for moving vehicles. instead of the vehicle smoothly moving its almost as if it's skipping a frame or glitching out. I don't know how else to describe it, but it's not anything like the trails symptoms I've heard other people having. I don't see multiples of the same vehicle, just one vehicle but it keeps skipping. It's like when your high on weed. (I haven't smoked weed for 6-7 months but obviously am not ruling that out). Oh and the symptoms started when I was on an exercise and didn't get any sleep for 2 days and was pretty stressed out. Can anyone relate?
omg I never thought anybody saw this before. I never found anybody else like me. Thank you so so much for this video it’s worth more than gold. Finally I can explain to people what it’s like and how I felt my whole life. Thank you thank you again❤️❤️❤️
Boran, that proves absolutely NOTHING. Your argument is as valid as someone who has back pain and eats a lot of lettuce claiming lettuce causes back pain. Pretty dumb, right? Such an argument would only be valid with controlled, scientific data coming from a study on thousands of people so that a causation could be reliably established. Your anecdotal evidence isn't worth squat, especially considering that I, and surely hundreds of millions of others, abused TV and PC all our lives and never had visual snow.
bennemann, I can't even express how dogmatic your point of view about my comment sounds. Just because you don't have visual snow doesn't mean that other people who abuse TV and computer usage cannot have it; for instance, it can be related to how easily one can get visually disturbed by flashing images that are displayed on the screen, also depending on the amount of time you pass in front of it. You're saying that my "argument" would only be valid in case of scientific researches proving it. Yet researches have never been accurate enough to determine the roots of visual snow and a potential cure, so I don't know how they could currently prove my "argument" with so little understanding of visual snow. However I can definitely observe that my visual snow gets more intense when I abuse TV and/or use my PC for a long time. I don't get your point. Are you saying that what I experienced is bullshit? Why would I even lie about such a thing? As someone who doesn't have visual snow, maybe you should taste the disease and see for yourself if abusing screens helps or not.
And I think you misunderstood my comment. I meant to say that abusing computer screen *increases* visual snow for me, but it does not necessarily cause visual snow.
This perfectly illustrates the way I've been seeing things my whole life. Thought I was going blind for sure. Sometimes it seems to get worse, and then it's not so bad. I would have had a lot less anxiety about it before, had I known what it was I was experiencing. I appreciate this video though, I can show it to anyone who wants to understand.
I've been living with this since I was a kid and thought it was just normal. I dont have floaters but when I look up at the sky or a light colored background I see t.v static like stars and flashes which are always there but become more noticeable. My advice is don't get freaked out it wont get worse.
oh thank god, for a bit I thought I maybe had psychosis but after toight I can confirm it is 100% visual snow and that makes me feel 100x better and also knowing im not the only one helps too, thanks for this.

Would seeing flashes of eyes whether your eyes are open or closed be something with Visual snow? Everything in this is in my vision except the after images are faint and they become more clear once I close my eyes. So if I see/think of something scary it appears and thats the reason It takes me a long time to fall asleep.
The fractals are known by another name "prisoner's cinema." I have them too. I just found out the names of both that and visual snow two days ago. I wonder if they are linked?
This is slightly relieving because I was starting to think I was having some sort of schizophrenia symptoms. Definitely see all this, I'm impressed with how accurate the visuals are I don't have all of them at once but sometimes 2 at a time

All pervading, it's been on my whole life. As a kid, I'd lay in bed staring at the wall watching what I see in this all pervading infinite projection/overlay.
Note: Focusing on the static whilst looking in the mirror may have you witness things you'd rather not see.
+Wilaem Jen'ari Daephius yeah man i keep seeing falling geometric triangles in my peripheral vision and those dark ass floaters in the day time.

Milan Djuricic same... I also see lights to have very bright circles around them and when my eyes are shut it has weird geometric shapes :/ no floaters tho.
Milan Djuricic Jesus same here!!!! i see them everywhere!! Is it normal?

Yep. You know it. You become hyper aware of it. But this seems to be more than just visual snow....
More like hppd
OuscarX! mines only progressed over the years
OuscarX! only times I stressed when I was young was at night cause it looked like ants everywhere. once i realized it was just my eyes I calmed down, only reason I worry now is cause of retinal detachment, I really hope that doesn't happen
I sometimes see sharp, transforming geometric shapes, I'm like, that's awesome!
Yeah man in the beginning it was scary but after a while you just have to accept it. I get to be high 24/7. Exhausting but also beautiful!
I am in utter disbelief and gratitude that you were able to create a visual representation of these symptoms I struggle SO hard to communicate. I see nearly all of the same and have tried desperately to explain them to others, this is such a tool! Thank you!
Did your symptoms ever get better?
Thank you for making this video. This is the only tool I found to help example how I see on a daily basis to my neurologist. However, my daylight vision is a little different. I see sparkles like glitter by the thousands all over any area that is bright. Anything reflecting the sun looks like a diamond bright star burst. And then finally, I have this strange phenomenon of camera like strobe lights in random places and all over my field of vision. All day, every day. Thank you again. It's only been since 1995 have I been looking.
can you please tell us what your neurologist said was wrong? I've gone to so many eye doctors and psychiatrists but no one takes me seriously!
+Noriana Davis well, unfortunately, i think the doctor put himself on the vss website to draw more clients. he only tried two pills on me, and advised that vss is typical of patients that had a hallucinogenic habit. which doesn't explain my symptoms that I have had since birth. they are getting worse and more difficult to ignore now.
oh no. I've also had my symptoms since as long as i can remember. and i've never even tried marijuana.... 😕

Honestly, I've every one of those symptoms since I was a child except the stars. I'm used to it, it's odd talking about it since I thought it was normal. I'm having more difficulties with recently getting Tinnitus than the visual snow.
I have tinnitus too, but I had mine before I noticed the visual snow. Did your symptoms ever get better?

@@ArunSharma-bq1kg How did yours appear? Born with it, or how?
@@PoeLemic no i started noticing it 6 years ago
NikoBell12 You seriously went to 6 different eye specialists?
And they all said your eyes are perfectly fine?

Same. I see a few blind people at uni almost everyday and I am grateful I still have vision.
same here
I have visual snow.
Ohh during the nights mines aren't pink but rather a dark blue/purple
Mine are just darker and brighter, no colours tho
I'd describe it with the flickering of the TV when the TV is not working. Do you know what i mean?
@@ma-ny-6279 yes, I always called it static
Very accurate simulation👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼(even though for me the static and the tinnitus are a lot more prominent)
In my case these shapes and flashes sometimes seem to move to the beat of music. I sometimes watch them with fascination but other times it’s just frightening or annoying.
Sohphie ... Were you born with it? Did you develop it? Any type of injury? Or, how did it come about? Answer if you would. Thanks. I'm trying to learn more about other's symptoms.
This is a lot like how I see, I always thought it was just a normal thing.
I have visual snow too and it's scary, did your vision ever become better or is this sort of a degenerative thing that gets worse?
This is exactly how my vision is! Its better on the days I'm relaxed and worse when I'm stressed! Great work with the representation !
I really hope there would be a cure already! I've had VS for a year now and I can't focus at school, I get anxiety all the time just by thinking about this.

Did your wife's vision ever get better? I just started getting those symptoms recently and I wanna know if it's degenerative
This is very accurate to my vison, I think the only difference is I don’t have many floaters (at least not very noticable ones) and when I close my eyes after looking at a screen or bright building like in the video, the original image will show up like either all pink, all blue, if that makes sense. I’m glad I’m not alone though, I’ve had this all my life and only found out the diagnosis just recently.
i didnt know that this wasnt normal for everyone else O.o how common is this?
not common at all, people dont know about it unless they have it it seems
AptWinds really? But when I told my mom she said that it was common for people to see those things and also a friend experienced it while closing her eyes and pressing it hard.
Much more than 1%, people just don't notice or don't know it.
me too, ive felt so alone with this. Be nice to chat to some other people who have this too and how you guys made it better/worse and how you live with it!
do you have also tinnitus and floaters?
COSMOS INTERIOR yes, both :(
lovewolves123 I got the same problem..
The eyes closed was pretty much spot on
You are not alone, my Friend.

Did your symptoms ever become better?
I'm not sure if that's palinopsia symptom or a hallucination
I've been housebound for years and have symptoms of extreme isolation - one is the "black dots" hallucinations prisoners in solitary and people lost at sea mention.
I have visual snow too and it's scary, did your vision ever become better or is this sort of a degenerative thing that gets worse?
thank you for sharing this , I have many of these effects, in happy I don't get fractles. that looks a bit scary
anyone else purposefully project this video onto the wall next to them bc i did !! just figured out i DoNT have schizophrenia like i thought i did my whole childhood and i just have these visual disturbances!!!! life complete now i can treat this
Until a few weeks ago i tought it was normal to see this and everybody had this. I love playing around with my eyes, I don’t mind having Visual Snow. It’s just mind-blowing that I’ll never get to see how others do.

static at night is normal? several dots, millions of them?

Did your vison ever get better?
@@verrnomfurry1954 unfortunately no, but i have learned to live with it.
I can relate
Wow! It is pretty much like that! I thought I was going to be blind, but I didn’t ‘t know how to explain it to people!
omg I never thought anybody saw this before. I never found anybody else like me. Thank you so so much for this video it’s worth more than gold. Finally I can explain to people what it’s like and how I felt my whole life. Thank you thank you again❤️❤️❤️
Did your vision ever get better? I have this too and I worry that it would become worse and worse
Could all this be caused by abusing TV and others screens?
mine is worse if i play playstation for hours
As a 17 year old, I don't do any drugs and I've had it since I was 13. I can confirm that this is VERY related to abusing TV and PC.
So you were born with it? Is that correct? Does it get better at times? And, is it easy for you to ignore it?
@@PoeLemic I'm not sure, I really can't remember a time I didn't see things like that. It does seem to be better at times, but I also got used to it

My advice is don't get freaked out it wont get worse.

Wow. Great simulation. This is exactly how I see, too - all of it. Sort of resigned to it now (it's been years) but a cure would be amazing.

What I have all of these except for seeing light beams. Idk if I have visual snow but I for sure know I have floaters.
