The most important part of the shutters to paint to stop water ingress is the top and bottom. Check all doors and shutters 👍
1st. LOL. Much better driving conditions Grahame. I have always found French drivers have much better lane control that the British and move back in once their manoeuvre is completed which allows other traffic to pass easier.

OMG, so many highways to take! We can take one freeway all the way from Portland Oregon to Redding, California in 6 hours 43 minutes, that’s 421 miles. Of course we are limited to under 60 miles per hour most of the way. You went faster than that! Ha!

Left hand drive in France, I did not know that. I assume your car has right hand steering? The mail carrier's here have R/H steering.
I guess you’ve done this trip a few times. I noticed the traffic in France is not as hectic was I right?
