I'm 18 and I have listened to George jones all my life and I was going to go see him in September I believe it was then I heard he had passed away I took it really hard it was like losing a family member I took it especially hard cause I was raised on his music
I was so fortunate to see George and Tammy, together, outside of Alexandria, Virginia in 1974. And then I seen George again in 1988, in Seattle, Washington. Brings a tear to my eye. They were good memories and good ol' days.
