George Jones was the best there ever was. He sung a song about filling someone's shoes, well no one else can fill his shoes. You don't hear country music like this anymore.
I had no intention of listening to this entire concert....but I could not stop! I've always loved me some Jones, but this was just such a wonderful performance. Rarely does one sound better live than on their records, but George does. He really seemed to treasure the experience as much as his audience. So glad I stumbled on this. So wonderful!
I work in a nursing home. I go room to room playing music from YT to a speaker. George Jones always bring a smile to their face. Even the dementia patients sing along.
Ciarra Rennie Sorry, just can't exclude the great Johnny Cash. George Jones was a great showman and singer with his unique voice and style. Johnny Cash represented a man's man. His voice and stature and music were rugged but emotional. Two great performers in their own right. Suggestion, take some time and listen to Johnny Cash's music and I think that you will agree
@Mr. Common sense related to crowd reaction I'd say GJ is the greatest country performer of all time. Johnny Cash is also the greatest but of his own category,, you can t really compare the two. I'd say there are things that GJ could do that JC couldn't do and vice versa, both are #1 in my book however.
JONES HELD the audience in the Palm of his hand if he was singing for a crowd of 50,000 or if he was singing just to you when you were alone there will NEVER BE ANOTHER TO COMPARE TO JONES YOU ARE MISSED BY MILLIONS

Oh how lucky you were to meet Mr. Jones... wow. I'm from Bathurst and I have seen him in concert many times. The best of the best.
As a little girl from the Caribbean just his voice used to make wish I could meet George.Never met him but still love the man and his singing.
There will never ever be another George if this don't bring chills to your heart nothing will one of the good old boys
Musicians never die, They rest in peace, George Jones is resting in Peace
Ron Gaddis did a real great tribute to George Jones (Country Music Say's Goodbye to a King). it is AWESOME
@@MadisonEasleyPuppySparklez - Yes; Ron Gadis, George's bass player. He knew how to sing so that he enhanced George's voice a bit. He knew when to come in and when to back off leaving it to George to hit those key phrases.
@@MadisonEasleyPuppySparklez Ron is still performing he was with George a long time and does a lot of his music. He learned from the best. He's a great entertainer as well
Yes. It's great
I was there and damn it was great.
Who's gonna fill his shoes. NOBODY EVER.
Never will forget the day my mom in her wheelchair and I who went to get his new album of favorites 50 yrs I think it was ..we went in there was a long line the security came and got us and put us right up front George and Nancy shook our hands gave us his autograph and talked to us like we were family and I never forgot it

@@willienelson3865 Kid, go do your algebra homework.
Not a traditional country fan..George was a great musician..love it..nice sounds
No earthly can out sing Lorreta Lynn and George Jones.
A legend whose music is a gift to us forever!
Best country singer of George Jones
What a show Jones could do, still best showman I've ever seen.
He looked like he was having a good time, every time he sang! Probably the best voice ever, if you had to narrow it down to one.
best of all , true country voice , never be another
Awesome man and singer!! I was blessed to see him, Merle Haggard and Conway in Savannah, Ga years ago!! The Living Legends Tour!! I've been to many concerts but NOTHING compared to that one!! BEST concert I've EVER been to!! We will always love George and will never forget him!! He was country and great country at that!💞
no body can sing better then George. i like to hear his singing everyday. none better ever
George Jones was the best there ever was.
He sung a song about filling someone's shoes, well no one else can fill his shoes.
You don't hear country music like this anymore.
Damn, when he is on he is good. Sad that he is gone. I worked with his group many times. Never a bad experience.
When he is good he is good.but when he's bad he is really good.
Please tells us more about you and Ole George 🙏
My all time favourite singer love george just wish I could of got the chance to see him live
George Jones you wrote my life... what a show these people were treated to...miss George
Hello Angie how are you doing... I saw your comment and I decide to stop by and say hi.
What’s more impressive is he’s spent 40 years in the spotlight by this concert… and he’s still that into it and feeling his songs.
Definitely the KING of Country Music...... Miss you so much Mr. Jones.
The Best There Ever Was In Country Music I Miss George
No one can out sing George Jones!! Just the best of the best!! Love his music!!
I work in a nursing home. I go room to room playing music from YT to a speaker. George Jones always bring a smile to their face. Even the dementia patients sing along.
George is the best and his songs have stood the test of time.
True country music singer💯
That's so true he was great
Johns is the best but you look hotter

The greatest singer, country or otherwise, Mr George Jones; you are deeply MISSED!!! Love you MAN!
Hanc causam offerimus in mundo order hands down jones best all time best no one is a close second to this guy.
Rebecca LaVoy they were both great in their own right but Jones has the best pure voice
@Mr. Common sense related to crowd reaction I'd say GJ is the greatest country performer of all time. Johnny Cash is also the greatest but of his own category,, you can t really compare the two. I'd say there are things that GJ could do that JC couldn't do and vice versa, both are #1 in my book however.
@@rebeccalavoy6655 especially Live At Folsom Prison
The living legend Mr. George Jones, the purest country voices ever and best song writer!
JONES HELD the audience in the Palm of his hand if he was singing for a crowd of 50,000 or if he was singing just to you when you were alone there will NEVER BE ANOTHER TO COMPARE TO JONES YOU ARE MISSED BY MILLIONS
What a fantastic show ..!!...you sure can see the special kinship George shared with Ron Gaddis...they sure worked well together...!
Debbie Davidson-Fougere and TV
Such a beautiful voice. No one will ever fill your shoes George. Rip my friend.

George was the best and he's missed verry much.
Seeing George Jones in Wranglers is like the most badass thing ever! No one these days wears those anymore. It’s truly a shame
There will never be another singer like George Jones!! If any singer could sound like someone they would sound like George Jones loved that man.
Great show a great group of singers love George Jones
Great show love it
