Lot play on wheel i was bout going replced tie rods and drag link
But after inspect exact wha this video said i just retie that big bolt and nut described here and problem solved
No more play at all at steering wheel
I saved hundreds. Just by tied this nuts by the steer fear box

Francisco thank you for the video. I have a similar steering system. I lifted the front end suspension of my Cascadia because I converted my truck into a to a Dump Truck. Now my steering wheel wheel is not level. It ia now steaight when it is at 10 & 4 o’clock. How should thia be corrected?

My drag link had slop in it, but I bought a power steering because I could hear the pump noise when turning the wheel. Not fully a waste. I'll keep the pump for later, but if like to have kept the pump cost instead
I have a sterring problem with my freightliner xlassic where ate you located....no one has been able to fix the issue not sure but it feels so tight over steers extremely dangerous
Hey, on an International 4300, is the steering wheel straightened from form the steering wheel or from underneath the truck?
My truck exact same is leaking right from bottle small bolt, due to hit something with tire.
Can I just remove that bottle bolt and might be any oring seal that can be replaced to stop leak??
Francisco how do I check my Drag Link?? because I been driving my truck for two years with the Drag link put on backwards and just found out from a mechanic? My mechanic put it back on the right way but it feels like it has play when I hold on too it and push forward is that normal?

I have 2015 freightliner cascadia dd13 and this is what my truck is doing I’m constantly moving the steering wheel left to right to keep it strait.
I got t800 drag link touch tire when turning left right any solutions

Same here,even after alignment
If the alignment is done properly and still pulling to one side then your steering box most likely needs to be replaced. But before doing it check all the bushings, condition of each parts of steering assembly. It might be just one bushings or rod needed to be replaced

I replace the drag link, the pitman arm and the gearbox and I still have some play . What can I do next ?
Check you draglink and tie rod ends
If you hear &feel a clunk clunk when rocking the steering wheel back & forth with the motor off then you most likely have a bad u-joint in one of the steering column shafts . Some you can replace others are welded in &you half to replace the whole shaft.

It is just the bolt, it was not tight enough.
Yes, in the back of the steering box there’s a nut and flat head screw. You can access it through a small round hole in the frame rail.
Yeah, but now either the Pittman arm or the gearbox are screw off
Hey man thank you for the videos. can you help me man having a problem with 2012 Freightliner Cascadia the steering wheel, shakes and vibrate in high speed. When speed between 40-55 only and it stops and everything's normal, you know what causes them. Thank you.
Maybe you have a bad rims or tires or bad drums
